CVO: Covert Vampiric Operations

After zombies came their world from a universal portal, Nikodemus sat as Overmars briefed the CVO team about the invasion. Nikodemus was of little help, being unable to read the portal with his divination. When Benny became infected with the Undermind, Nikodemus and Overmars could only watch via security camera as the zombie used artillica to teleport into the Coffin and steal CVO's artillica. Infestation #1 They were left to fend against the zombie horde, but were saved in the nick of time by a troop of Warbots led by Cross and Bools. Nikodemus was tasked with confirming that Britt's state as a zombie-vampire hybrid transformed her into living artillica used by the Undermind. Nikodemus and the others were unable to stop Britt as she woke up and summoned the Undermind, and so they teleported to the White House so that they could use Benny to transform Cross into a being like Britt—to prevent the Undermind from controlling him, Nikodemus provided his demonic blood as a safeguard. The demon watched on as Cross used his new abilities to write the Undermind out of existence and later discussed the aftermath with the rest of the CVO higher-ups. Infestation #2

After further events, Nikodemus warned the others of the impeding arrival of the Elder Gods, which occurred soon after. Overmars didn't appreciate the demon's "I told you so" and Nikodemus was assigned the task of prioritizing where to send CVO agents. Infestation 2 #1 As the situation worsened, Nikodemus explained to Overmars of the three objects that the Elder Gods needed to fully break out of their prison. After Cross had his heart ripped out to close the Gods' portal, Nikodemus was among the others who watched him somehow survive and wake up. Infestation 2 #2
