CVO: Covert Vampiric Operations

Cross's family still existed and Overmars hid it from him.

After an interdimensional zombie infestation hit the Kirtland Underground Munitions Storage Complex in New Mexico, Overmars briefed CVO's field agents before sending them in to take care of the situation. Things went awry quick as Benny became connected to the Undermind and Overmars could only watch via security camera as Benny stole CVO's artillica. Infestation #1 Overmars and other CVO staff were left to fend against a zombie invasion of CVO headquarters, but were saved in the nick of time by Warbots and the field agents of CVO. Overmars coordinated a proper response to the zombie invasion and personally went to the White House to help in its defense. He watched on as Cross had Benny bite him so that he could become a vampire-zombie hybrid like Britt. When the invasion was repelled, Overmars and the higher-ups of CVO discussed the aftermath. When the Elder Gods made their own invasion, Overmars received reports of their specific attacks from Benny and was advised by Nikodemus as to which ones to prioritize. Infestation #1 After learning that Cross's artillica-heart was being used as a conduit by the Elder Gods, Overmars attempted to send a drone to take out the super-vampire, but he was ultimately protected by the Gods' servant. Cross ended up having to have his heart ripped out to stop the Elder Gods, but he later recovered at CVO headquarters, to the surprise of Overmars. Infestation 2 #2
