The HMS Indomitable was a battleship serving in the Royal Navy in the year 1888. With several nations having lost ships in the Atlantic Ocean, the Indomitable was dispatched by the British government as part of a joint investigation of the town of Port Cenotaph. Subsequently, the Indomitable and her crew participated in the battle against the minions of the Elder God rising from the ocean depths. Infestation 2: The Transformers #2

"Strange Visitors" establishes that events identical to those of Hearts of Steel and Infestation 2 occur in the 2005 IDW continuity; however, they happened to Maximal explorers brainwashed by Shockwave into believing they were the Autobots and Decepticons of the Great War.

The Last Knight film

During World War II, an unnamed Cybertronian served as the HMS Alliance for the Royal Navy.

Sir Edmund Burton was a member of the Royal Navy in his younger days. Upon breaking into the Prime Minister's office, he cited his naval service. The Last Knight

  • As far as historical realism goes, none of the real ships named HMS Indomitable were in service in 1888. By contrast, the HMS Alliance (P417) is indeed on display at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, as shown in The Last Knight.
