Toys
[edit]The Transformers
[edit]
- Wildrider (Stunticon, 1986)
- Accessories: scattershot gun, plasma-energy blaster, connector
- The Transformers Wildrider came with a small black scattershot gun, according to his instructions and packaging bio.
- This toy also available as a Menasor giftset and was reissued in 1990 as part of the European/Australian Classics line.
Notes
[edit]
- Wildrider's bios of his Generation 1 toys released in Japanese markets have his scattershot gun roughly translated into laser shotgun.
- Wildrider was planned to be redecoed for release in the Generation 2 toyline in 1994 but this toy was ultimately cancelled. However, some packaged samples have found their way onto the secondary market over the years and while Generation 2 Wildrider's packaging bio doesn't mention his scattershot gun by name, his robot mode weapons are still described as spraying laser beams over a wide area.
- Wildrider's Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile seriously narrows the spread of his weapon's beams compared to his Marvel Universe profile: 50 square feet is around 4.65 m² while 50 square yards is nearly 42 m².
