Searchlight is an Autobot Commander from the Power Core Combiners portion of the movie continuity family.
Please mind my deadly arm-mounted rotors while I'm pulling you to safety.

Searchlight is renowned for his matchless search-and-rescue abilities. When he's teamed up with his Mini-Con, Backwind, the amount of time that he operates at full effectiveness increases dramatically, making him an invaluable asset to any rescue mission.

Power Core Combiners

Part of the first wave of Power Core Combiners Commander Class figures, Searchlight is a Scout-size tandem rotor rescue helicopter with mismatched helicopter blades who transforms into a robot. Searchlight can swap between his normal head and a larger head so that he can also serve as a torso for Power Core Combiner drone-limbs. His chestplate has a flip-up Mini-Con Powerlinx peg that allows him to use any Mini-Con as chest armor, though the nominal choice is his pack-in partner Backwind.
Searchlight's left elbow is universally misassembled, being installed backwards (the angled part should face forward to put it in exact position for helicopter mode). This may contribute to the common breakage this figure is prone to; care should be taken when storing Searchlight as forces applied to the top of his helicopter mode cause the sockets of his shoulder joints to crack as parts minutely twist further than they should. It's unknown if this was fixed for his subsequent redecoes.
This mold was also used to make Windburn and Choppermaster.
During the period between December 26 2010 and January 31 2011, Hasbro ran their "Supercharge Your Holidays" promotion: for every $20 spent on Hasbro-branded product, customers could receive a free, random product from a list provided by Hasbro. Among the items on the list was "Transformers Combiners & Speed Stars Mini Vehicle". According to this discussion thread on Allspark.com, Searchlight with Backwind was one of the figures distributed.

Searchlight was also made available as part of a Walmart-exclusive Black Friday "Value Pack", combining a 5-pack team with a Commander 2-pack via packaging tape and a couple of stickers, for the whopping price of ten bucks, merely a third of what the two toys would normally cost.
So far, Searchlight has been found attached to the Mudslinger/Destructicons and Stakeout/Protectobots sets.
