Gnaw wants to show off his talents, much to the director's frustration.
Synopsis
[edit]The director asks Gnaw to tell him about himself. Gnaw responds by roaring and charging around the set. Though the director says it's perfect, Gnaw wants to expand the character, claiming Sharkticons have a wealth of talents beyond being snarling monsters. He shows off his skill at dance and painting, but the director is unimpressed, insisting they need scary sharks. Gnaw then offers to show off his synchronized swimming ability, but the director wearily declines again, insisting they only need chomping. A disappointed Gnaw transforms and begins to roar and chomp wildly.

Quotes

"Gnaw, ya looked in the mirror lately?"
- —Gnaw tries to show the director that Sharkticons have depth.
Notes
[edit]- While this short was made to be part of the celebration for 35th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie it was not run theatrically. It premiered on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel on December 22, 2021.
- Gnaw's painting of Unicron is a modified screencap from the fifth episode of the War for Cybertron Trilogy: Earthrise cartoon.
Animation and technical errors
[edit]- That's a grammatical error right there in the title, with an unnecessary apostrophe in "Sharkticon's". It should probably be "Sharkticons: good at more than just chomping!" (or, if the possessive was intended, something like "This Sharkticon's good at more than just chomping!")
