Sky Lynx is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Loosely allied with the Decepticons, Sky Lynx and his Sky Attack Mini-Con Team comrades have elected to remain on Earth, creating havoc. Sky Lynx is a professional in every sense of the word, with an uncanny ability to evade most any anti-air defense system and deliver his cargo with deadly precision.

Most anti-air defense systems. The only one that he actually considers a challenge is the Air Defense Team member Thunderblast, who works with the Earth-based Autobots. The two have formed an odd sort of friendship based on mutual respect and admiration for each other's abilities, despite the fact that their jobs are basically to capture or kill the other.

Sky Lynx was part of an army of insurgent Mini-Cons that were plotting to destroy a Mini-Con colony on one of Cybertron's moons, and fought against the forces of the Mini-Con Council of Sages. Revelations Part 4 Their activities led to them being attacked by an Autobot strikeforce, and later betrayed by Unicron. Sky Lynx was seen taking some hits, and his ultimate fate after the great battle is unknown. Revelations Part 5

  • Sky Lynx vs. Thunderblast (Mini-Con 2-pack, 2005)
Released as part of the first wave of Cybertron Mini-Con 2-packs, Cybertron Sky Lynx is a redeco of the Armada Air Military Mini-Con Team member Gunbarrel, transforming into a military cargo plane of undetermined model. He also has a third "artillery" mode, folding up into a six-barreled cannon. He was sold only in a two-pack with the Autobot-allied Mini-Con Thunderblast.
This mold is also used by Combusta and Effect, while a slightly-retooled version is used by Hyakurai.

Thunderblast and Sky Lynx were added to the Voyager-class toy Leobreaker as a Target-exclusive bonus pack for the cost of a normal Voyager. All of the toys are the same as their individual releases.

  • When the Mini-Con two-packs were premiered at the 2005 San Diego Comic-Con, the Sky Attack Team used the retooled Caliber Micron versions of the molds with additional 5mm pegs. However, the final retail versions used the original, pegless versions.
