Streetwise is an Autobot Protectobot from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2003 Universe series).
He's street wise, but not street legal. Ironic, no?

A member of the MicroMaster Protectobots, Streetwise fights against the forces of the evil Unicron. He forms the right arm of Defensor.

Fiction

Universe comic

[edit]

In universal stream Aurex 1104.30-DB Zeta (a highly Primax-influenced universe), Streetwise was born from Dr. Brian Jones's attempts at reverse-engineering Maximus combiner technology and applying it to Mini-Con anatomy. Superion, Defensor, and Rail Racer fought Devastator in the Combiner Wars during the Unicron Singularity crisis. At some point, Streetwise's team was abducted by Unicron. Streetwise was one of the many Transformers held in the Cauldron, the death-pit deep within the shattered remains of Unicron. He and the other Protectobots formed Defensor when Trailbreaker and Silverbolt released the prisoners, making a break for freedom. Escape

Toys

Universe (2003)

[edit]
  • Streetwise (MicroMaster Protectobot, 2004)
  • Series: I
  • Accessories: Defensor right fist, radar assembly
Part of the first series of KB Toys exclusive Universe MicroMasters, Streetwise is nigh-identical to the Micromaster re-release of Circuit, transforming into a 1989 McLaren MP4-5 Formula-1 race car. He can form either arm, the chest or back of Defensor, but works the least awkwardly as his left arm.
The toy's larger connector socket is approximately 5 mm wide, making Streetwise compatible with Powerlinx ports.

Energon
