Quote
[edit]I suggest that her quote be "Can you build me a small intestine?" It's just the best thing she's ever said and will likely become the new "too many sonic booms" internet meme. Or I'm just weird.
- ¡Usa El Queso! 10:24 PM, 3 February 2011 A.D.
- It's a great line, but not a great quote for her fiction section. --ItsWalky 22:44, 3 February 2011 (EST)
- I vote a quote from Optimus in Partners, probably the best out of the many Arcee-focused episodes in my opinion - "It is the external wounds which heal the quickest." In my opinion, it fits very well with Arcee and the introduction to this page. Arcee has been all about vengeance - against the Eradicons/Vehicons in Darkness Rising ("This! Is! For! Cliff!"); Airachnid of course; and in this episode, Starscream. Losing her partners has definetly shaken her to the core as the page notes. Ratchet can repair her at any time, or anyone can repair her. But nothing Ratchet or anyone can do can really heal the internal wounds overnight like repairs do to external wounds. Of course, this is exactly what Optimus means by this quote. But, I'd like to throw it in for consideration. -- 76.186.90.217 01:35, 12 February 2012 (EST)
Bubblegum Crisis joke?
[edit]Could we fit one in somewhere? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.233.236.67 (talk • contribs){{#if:11:45, 18 March 2011| 11:45, 18 March 2011|}}.
- Maybe when another, appropriate image is added. The current ones are fine as-is.
- Also, please sign your posts.--Apcog 11:52, 18 March 2011 (EDT)
Okay, I'll give.
[edit]What does Arcee mean? TheMZone 15:46, 21 July 2011 (EDT)
- Race Cycle? --ItsWalky 15:55, 21 July 2011 (EDT)
- I mean, in the caption joke. I don't get it. TheMZone 17:37, 21 July 2011 (EDT)
- I guess because it originally stood for "Race Car." --ItsWalky 17:41, 21 July 2011 (EDT)
- Yeah, that was pretty much the intention of the joke, in that this Arcee "started out" as a race car in the videogame, which worked with her 'original' name, and then "became" a cycle in the cartoon. It's not a strong joke though (still better than the previous one), so if it doesn't work, I'd prefer to see it changed. Geewunling 02:20, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
- Oh weird, I always thought RC stood for "radio controlled." I remember back in the nineties there used to be dozens of ads for "RC cars." -- Semysane 07:16, 22 July 2011 (EDT)
- It doesn't make much sense for her to be 'called' "radio controlled", unless there's some shocking background story of hers yet to be told. Personally, I've gotten to liking the idea her name comes from resistor–capacitor circuits, which doesn't tie her to an altmode. Geewunling 07:53, 22 July 2011 (EDT)

Main pic
[edit]In the top picture of this article, Arcee is making the same pose Elita One is in her main picture. When they made that picture, was that what they intended?71.162.106.122 18:22, 4 March 2012 (EST)
- No. --ItsWalky 18:49, 4 March 2012 (EST)

Alt Mode
[edit]Arcee looks like a Suzuki GSX-R, which is typically 2045mm (6ft8.5in). Is the resemblance enough to add it to her page? Is the length relevant to discussing her scale? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MrMunkeepants (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

Moving?
[edit]I think they should leave the page as Arcee (Prime) instead of moving it. There's just more information regarding the series. ArceeFanGirl 17:37, 27 December 2012 (EST)
- That's not how the Wiki's standards work. Which is why we have Sideways (RID) and Thundercracker (Armada) while they had more exposure in Armada and Cybertron respectively.
- The Wiki's "standards" also include DISREGARDING "standards" when they become problematic and obfuscating because this franchise makes it exceptionally difficult to have completely inviolable black-and-white rules and standards. As Arcee's High Moon roles amount to like less than 1% of Things She's Ever Done... no. Keep her at Prime because if you SNEEZE you'd miss her in the game. (I STILL don't like treating the games as a separate "thing" for disambigs anyway.) --M Sipher 15:29, 31 December 2012 (EST)
- To make both you guys happy, I split WFC Arcee into a seperate article because a.) she has no connection to the Prime one despite occupying the same continuity b.) it's possible for two characters to share the same name, it's happened before and c.) nothing as of yet has connected her to her Prime counterpart. One is a new character and one is a G1 homage. To me they are seperate characters.Transfan 1992 01:38, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
Relation With Jack Darby
[edit]The charater bio on Hub website states that she has a big sister relation with Jack Darby should`nt that be noticed? i mean she is a robot but Transformers are living beings with feelings and stuff —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nutbolthaze (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
- The intro paragraph already makes note of her growing respect for Jack, and we're not the kind of wiki that does extensive "Relationships" stuff. Jalaguy 18:14, 25 April 2013 (EDT)
Arcee (WFC)
[edit]Why didn't Arcee's page move when everyone else's did? Oversight? -LV 11:24, 30 April 2013 (EDT)
- It was moved back to (Prime) on the grounds that her appearance in War for Cybertron was minor. --abates 05:53, 1 May 2013 (EDT)
- That hasn't stopped us before. See: Sentinel Prime (ROTF), Sideways (RID), etc. I'd say "cameos in story mode and available as a playable character" is less minor than "is mentioned vaguely and offhandedly in a high-speed partially gibberish monologue". Jalaguy 08:54, 1 May 2013 (EDT)
Bill Cosby joke
[edit]Maybe the Cosby joke in one of the captions should go. --Cr85747 (Talk) 8:01, 11 August 2015 (EDT)
- Any Bill Cosby joke's on the should go, I think. Escargon (talk) 10:47, 11 August 2015 (EDT)
- The Bill Cosby reference has nothing to do with him drugging or raping anybody, but if we want to pretend like Bill Cosby the comedian never existed, then sure. I guess we might as well remove the mention that Kevin Michael Richardson does a good Cosby impression from his article while we're at it. I mean, this is just a dumb caption and doesn't mean anything so far as the informative capacity of this wiki is concerned, it's more a matter of principle. Whenever it turns out that a celebrity does something illegal or awful, we should eliminate all references to them from this wiki? God forbid we trigger anybody, right? --DrSpengler (talk) 11:01, 11 August 2015 (EDT)
- Alright, I sounded like a dick when I posted that. You guys are good people and don't deserve vitriol; I'm sorry. I'll just articulate my opinion and if the consensus disagrees, then okay:
- Celebrities are always going to do bad things (or in Cosby's case, VERY bad things). It should be okay to reference, quote or make jokes about their WORK, I believe. If the caption was about Cosby roofying and violating women, some tasteless gag about that, then yes. Definitely, exterminate the caption with extreme prejudice. But the caption as it exists is a quote from a standup routine he did in the 70s. Its no more offensive than quoting the Cosby Show or Ghost Dad. By the same token, we can't ban ourselves from quoting, I dunno, Rosemary's Baby because the guy who directed it was a rapist. Or, for a less artistic example, censoring ourselves from quoting Jeepers Creepers because the guy who wrote and directed that was a convicted child-molester. Also, we can never quote the principle from Ferris Bueller's Day Off because he got caught jerkin it to child pornography. I know it's just a caption, not an important thing, but I don't think "Cosby is a horrible person" should result it "we can never reference or quote any work Cosby has ever done in his career". But that's just my two cents. If you want to clip the quote from Himself, I won't interfere. --DrSpengler (talk) 11:31, 11 August 2015 (EDT)
- I'm with Spengs on this 100%. --Khajidha (talk) 11:46, 11 August 2015 (EDT)

Arms Up
[edit]Did anyone actually save that from the now deleted toys page? Or do we have to get someone to Undelete it so we can copy it over? Escargon (talk) 08:21, 27 August 2022 (EDT)
- The page wasn't deleted, it was just turned into a redirect. You could've just copied it from the page history. Regardless, I've migrated it over now. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 08:28, 27 August 2022 (EDT)
