He doesn't get blown up

There's a crazy rumor flying around that Ironhide blew Barricade up during the big city battle just because he was near a black car when it exploded (when Blackout shot it) I wouldn't be surprised if it winds up getting posted here too, since wikipedia has already been hit with it.--Carrion 03:20, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

I assume its the scene where Blackout then transforms (VERY quickly) and flies over Sam as the guy ducks. The prominent wheel that bounces has silver rims. Blackout has black. I think some rumour monger cited it on the wikipedia but it was quickly removed. --FFN 05:32, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Transformers 2 Baricade cars

There are now police cars getting town around covan city or something, with pictures getting posted of it on the internet. This sugests that he actualy will apear in transformers 2.--Grand-majin 21:13, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

All Spark Enhanced Barricade

On an auction site, I discovered that there was another deluxe figure called All Spark Enhanced Barricade, and after doing some research, I found that there indeed was such a figure. Frenzy comes in red. Should we add that to the article? 203.173.161.113 01:28, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Not until it has been officially announced by Hasbro and/or Takara. Until then, we have to assume that the toy in question is stolen or a knockoff, and therefor cannot be referenced in any articles. - Semysane 06:54, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Barricade's fate

Something I found interesting while looking through Japanese Transformers clips.

[3]Here, you'll see an extra shot of Barricade at about 1:15, watching him run and transform. The Backdrop looks to be under the bridge where Prime and Bonecrusher fought, so the Prime fighting Barricade could be true.

Why this footage never appeared outside of this trailer, I don't know. But it certainly sheds some light on his fate, at least to me.

I guess this isn't really needed...but I thought it was interesting, especially since it hasn't been mentioned.

Edit: Scratch that. I see that it was included in other adaptions. Oh well. At least we know there's footage for it.

The Battle Bios "unused" head

I was watching Transformers Beginnings the other day, and when Starscream, Blackout and Barricade are on Mars, Barricade has the head from the Battle Bios site. The head is Barricade's Cybertronian head... well, first-movie fiction wise, since Barricade has a much more Earth-mode-esque head in Defiance.

DOTM

Seriously, for the love of God, he isn't Barricade.

Um, there's a guy in the Super Bowl spot with Barry's basic design, who clearly has the word "POLICE" on his arm (see this video for frame-by-frame view of him). Should this be mentioned?

The bot Optimus stabs is definitely Sideways (or someone that looks just like him). However... the recent video for Iridescent that Linkin Park put up on youtube (here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c9F6SQI1ZM) does show a bot identical to Barricade, with the "POLICE" letterings clearly visible (at about 00:54). So... given that Barricade's "alive/dead" status isn't entirely clear even with word from John Barber, maybe he actually is in the film? -- Clifftothemax 02:17, 17 June 2011 (GMT)

Stealth Force in DOTM Deluxe

Hey all, just wanted to point out that Barricade's DOTM deluxe has what appears to be two guns molded inside his trunk kibble (which becomes his hip-fatteners in robot mode). Arguably, you can achieve a stealth-mode by raising his trunk in alt-mode kinda like DOTM Deluxe 'bee, but the guns are so small and hard to spot from most angles it looks more like Barricade's simply been left mistransformed. Can anyone here fiddle with a deluxe Barricade and confirm this little tidbit towards the toy info? Thanks. 175.137.115.140 13:55, 11 July 2011 (EDT)

DOTM Deluxe

Is it worth noting this is noticeably smaller in size and scale than the 07 mould (cf. Sideswipe too), or is this being taken as a given?

DOTM Deluxe Barricade hidden feature?

I have discovered what seems to be a hidden feature on DOTM Deluxe Barricade that gives him even more movie accuracy! There are screws in his chest that hold his front bumper pieces on. If they are slightly loosened, then the two pieces of his front bumper can actually be angled slightly to line up with his faux-grille in robot mode. This replicates the angles of his chest pieces as seen in the movie.

I'm wondering whether this should be mentioned in the toy info?

Jess Harnell didn't confirm anything in the video that was linked. The video clip supporting the fact had a fan referring to Harnell as "the voice of Barricade from the Bumblebee movie", but when he asks Harnell about the film, Harnell just says he "heard about it a little while ago" which doesn't suggest at all that he'd been given a role in it. It's just a case, once again, of fans hearing what they want to hear and taking it as fact. --abates (talk) 13:38, 22 December 2018 (EST)
