I have no clue why I find this entire article so hilarious. It is so funny that even things that should not be funny, such as the perfectly ordinary disambig2 at the top, are somehow funny. --Andrusi 02:09, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Its a nice page I don't see how it is so much funnier then the others. I also saw nothing special about the Disambig page is this an inside joke or something. Man being a newbie sucks eggs. --Bob 7 April 2007 (UTC)

It's not really, I think Andrusi just finds the overall tone hilarious. -Derik 04:46, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
I went ahead and added towards that tone. New link at the bottom. Sav 01:32, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
That link doesn't work. --KilMichaelMcC 02:19, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Changed.--Sav 03:21, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Automorph

[edit]

Looking over the article I noticed the comment about Bonecrusher not having an automorph feature. At first I agreed, but having gotten it and playing with it for a while, I realized the gear-activated blades on the scoop are meant to be the automorph, however pitiful. I checked the packaging again and sure enough, it had "Automorph Technology" emblazened across the front. I'd rather not change this right away, since calling it "Automorph" is highly charitable. Does anyone want to change it, or should a side note be added instead? King Starscream 17:51, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

I got it.--MCRG 03:58, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Voyager Class?

[edit]

What ever happened to the HobbyLinkJapan "confirmed" voyager class Bonecrusher? Was that proven unfounded or what?

It seems strange we didn't see anything about it at Botcon, so I'm guessing HLJ jumped the gun on something.--MCRG 05:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Yeah from what I heard at Botcon Hasbro seemed to be saying that they were considering it, but hadn't decided yet. There was an important product meating coming up in future weeks and it would be decided then IIRC.--ZacWilliam 14:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Wonder if it will come out in the movie trilogy line?

English

[edit]

Is it just me, or in the fight with Prime, the last thing Bonecrusher shouts is an english "I hate you!" at Prime? --Terrocon Blot 12:26, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

It's not just you. I heard "I hate you!" "Move!" (to the bus) and "Take that, Autobot!" (on the windsheild). Mr. Q 16:19, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

well he definently, screems "I hate you" to Prime, right before being stabed, while he was being stabed he says somthing that sounds like blonga, though he might have been saying, "I long to..." (destroy/kill you) i heard nothing else in english though. Editoroflife 01:37, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I heard bonecrusher say, "Stay back!"(right before prime transformers), "You'll fall!"(as he rams into prime), "Take that, prime!" or "Stay back, prime!"(Just before prime rams into him and knocks bonecrusher's eye out of his socket), and "Ooh, I hate you ya-ow!(you)"(Right before prime cuts off his arm). Then he made a few weird garbling noises before optimus killed him. Did bonecrusher speak? Frankly, I think he spoke 4 times throughout the film (not counting "Bonecrusher rolling.")-St.Hound

Hate Jokes

[edit]

So, does everybody think there were too many earlier, or not? --Chiasaur11

Abit too many. Less is more. --FFN 22:20, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Whatever happened to the line in the opening paragraph about him hating appropiate Aviril Lavin (however the hell you spell her name) songs? I thought that was pretty damn funny. But that's just me.--AWT88 03:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Evidently it has been toned down. --FFN 11:53, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
I take responsibility for that. He got a really good profile in the UK Titan magazine, so I finally made the top section more than just about how he hates everything. - McFeely, at work

Potential Funny

[edit]

If there's ever room for a/another mildly lengthy funny on this page, I hereby suggest this Ellison quote:

"Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer-thin layers that fill my complex. If the word hate was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of million miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this microinstant. For you. Hate. Hate. Hate." —Harlan "Bonecrusher" Ellison

Bus pursuit pic.

[edit]

Okay, at present we have three different crops of the exact same frame of Bonecrusher chasing that bus. A little excessive?--RosicrucianTalk 16:30, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I really think the multi-image shot could do with removing, since it is waaaay too long. As for the bus images, I think the new one gives a better view of Bonecrusher. -- SFH 16:32, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Fine, I'm removing it. Happy? --FFN 02:23, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

There's something else that bothers me. Unlike all the other characters in the movie (Devastator not included) he has no "pose" picture, like Bumblebee's one at the top of the page. Why is this?

Crosshairs-1

Because there's none to PUT there. For whatever reason, "pose" renders of Brawl and Bonecrusher just didn't make it out. --M Sipher 18:53, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Those bastards at Tformers uploaded some press kit images of the movie CG models, but only tiny thumbnails. --FFN 22:20, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Bonecrusher's Hate Blog?

[edit]

How come you won't let me mention that? What about Ask Vector Prime? Mr. Q 16:22, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

If I'm not mistaken, "Ask Vector Prime" appeared on Hasbro's own website, and is therefore canon. Bonecrusher's Blog was apparently created by a fan, and is therefore not canon.
If you can find proof that Bonecrusher's Blog was in fact authorized by Hasbro, then you can add it back in. JW 16:31, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Slag. I'm sure it's not cannon canon.Mr. Q 16:36, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Of course, if Bonecrusher's Blog gets hugely popular, and becomes something known throughout all Transformers fandom, to the point where there are sly references to it in official material, then we may give it a page, similar to JaAm. I don't think that's terribly likely, though. JW 16:43, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Ah, you never know. Mr. Q 16:44, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

-Hey Ya'll, Master Fwiffo here. I (ahem) edit for Bonecrusher, and I'm sorry to say that his blog is not authorized by Hasbro, Takara, Paramount, or anything else except Bonecrusher's ego. And he Hates that. If you want to mention it as a fan work, feel free, though I'm sure Bonecrusher will take objection to being called a 'fan' of anything. -Fwiff

About cats: The note saying he hates cats was not given in any official material or, in fact, any material whatsoever. The hate blog is where he mentions that he hates cats less than dogs, but unofficial sources are better than no sources. The Big Q 12:24, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

No, they're not. (Unless one of the movie scriptwriters or someone is writing said blog, in which case it's STILL "vok are actually future humans" deutero-canon.) -hx 13:03, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't know who is really doing the blog. Maybe Bc's story about robots making a deal with Hasbro is true.

I'm kidding. The Big Q 13:33, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
And the Vok are future Swarm. The Big Q 13:12, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

English

[edit]

Is it just me, or did he say "Aha, oh yeah!" just before he got decapitated? I didn't hear him say any of the other stuff. Thyunda 14:14, 1 May 2008 (UTC) i think he said not i hate you but i love you at least that's what i heard.

Defiance issue 2 appearance? Need help/opinions

[edit]

I really don't want to play "Guess what Dan Khanna and Andrew Griffith are meant to be drawing in Defiance!", but I have no choice. On the third panel of page 15, among the many vaguely drawn robots in the crowd, there is a olive and tan guy with a low-set head and some spikey thing behind his head on his back. Is this Bonecrusher? The overall design and colour layout seems to suggest so. He's not in the following Decepticon army page (though it's really hard to tell). I need to know so I can form an opening sentence about Bonecrusher's past in the IDW section of this article. --FFN 07:58, 22 June 2009 (EDT)

A little help here? --FFN 07:36, 25 June 2009 (EDT)

ROTF Appearance

[edit]

I definitely saw him in robot mode, but most people seem to have only noticed the vehicle mode. Am I imagining things? In fact I'm pretty sure I saw him take some serious damage. Drmick 05:43, 25 June 2009 (EDT)

Are you sure you're not thinking of Mixmaster? I tried to keep an eye out for unnamed Decepticons in the movie, and the ones that looked like they had Blackout's basic body were the only big ones I saw.KrytenKoro 06:40, 25 June 2009 (EDT)
I only noticed the vehicle mode rolling along with the other Decepticon generics, and I only seen one Transformer with Blackout's body.--AWT88 20:06, 26 June 2009 (EDT)
Those generic Decepticon's at the end appeared to have Blackout's head, and his basic body (without all the helicopter kibble). Basically, his Cybertronian form. Sorry I was unclear.KrytenKoro 21:06, 26 June 2009 (EDT)
As Derik pointed out, he's in Revenge of the Fallen, he wasn't among the dead Decepticons disposed of in the first movie, and, as an added bonus, there are toy bios stating he survived. I don't think the wiki should act like this Bonecrusher is a lookalike for some reason. He's in the film. - Starfield 09:20, 30 June 2009 (EDT)
He was VIOLENTLY decapitated and killed in the first film. Common sense would dictate it's a similar situation to Grindor and the protoforms, same look different guy. He doesn't need an article, but throw a trivia note in at the end "A look alike appears in ROTF". Don't make it out to be the same guy, considering toy bios can contradict the movie (G1 colour Jazz anyone?). Give the toy bio its own fiction section, and don't confuse matters by making it out to be the same guy. Eire 15.21 30 June 09 (UTC)
Toy-bios can contradict the movies. This time they don't. Bonecrusher is there. He was decapitated, but not disposed of with the others. Transformers have a way of not staying "dead" when you think they are "dead." Frenzy was decapitated. - Starfield 10:29, 30 June 2009 (EDT)
Your argument could hold up if it wasn't for the fact that he isn't in Jungle Bonecrusher colors. --Detour 10:55, 30 June 2009 (EDT)
He adopted those colors when he re-located to the jungle. When returning to the desert he'd go back to his tans.
(The real clincher for me is that he wasn't among the bodies disposed of. Not in the movie, not in the adaptions, or the video games. That PLUS toy-bio PLUS ROTF-appearance means he survived until we hear different.) -Derik 20:20, 30 June 2009 (EDT)
Ok, hands up: Who saw Bonecrushers robot CGI model in the final battle? <sticks up hand> Drmick 13:40, 1 July 2009 (EDT)
He was definitely there.KrytenKoro 17:56, 1 July 2009 (EDT)
His bot mode was definitely there, it's really hard to miss since it's so brief, but it was definitely him busting through a wall and threatening some humans.--86.87.28.191 13:08, 8 August 2009 (EDT)
I rather think it's a body dobble like Grindor. But because michal bay directed this movie, and Bonecrusher is his favorit robot...Make of the last bit what you will.--Sunjumper 13:20, 8 August 2009 (EDT)

I believe I was the first person in the world to post online about Bonecrusher's robot model being used in this flick. I posted here, somewhere else on this wiki, and on some message boards. Got a bit of grief about it too. I still we think we need a Constucticon Confusion type article/page on the wiki, to nicely describe the Constructicon/Bonecrusher/drone confusion. Who knows, it could be an article that will be further expanded with Bay directing Transformers 3. Drmick 13:02, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

Buffalo vs Buffalo?

[edit]

Bonecrusher (Armada) called my attention to it, and i have to ask if it was a coincidence or Easter egg that Bonecrusher (Movie) has a vehicle mode named after the beast mode of Bonecrusher (BW)?

Haters

[edit]

Can I please add "Bonecrusher Gonna Hate" somewhere?

Deluxe toy writeup

[edit]

"In robot mode, he has elements resembling both his 2005 design and the final design used in the movie" - what does that mean? What "2005 design"? This seems to have been here forever, or at least since 2007, and it seems weird that no one has questioned it. Or, alternately, provided any other reference on the page to a "2005 design". -LV (talk) 15:40, 23 May 2015 (EDT)

[edit]

forceprotection.net is now a German dating website, The official webpage for the Buffalo MPCV is now here: http://www.gdls.com/products/mrap-family/buffalo.php and makes no mention of Transformers, nor does the brochure available for download. The manipulated/force-perspective picture is also absent. ZTS is Very Sorry (talk) 17:14, 22 June 2016 (EDT)

MPM in target catalog

[edit]

So apparently the rumored MPM Bonecrusher just showed up in a random target catalog (I think it's online?) and seems to be exclusive. Link:https://discord.com/channels/549531076175986709/549531240823390209/1129315539102216232Poliwag06 (talk) 04:01, 14 July 2023 (EDT)

Figure releases

[edit]

Regarding the MP figure, it says the year of release is 2024, but the target near my college campus had a couple of these guys on shelves for around 150-160 USD. Should we change it to 2023, or leave it? I'm not 100% certain on the policy for that, and I don't want to make an unnecessary change. Metalstar (talk) 12:41, 2 December 2023 (EST)
