Talk:Empire

I tried for a while to insert the Imperial Emblem image into this article, but it kept giving me an error message no matter what I did (even though it works perfectly on the Galactic Republic and Rebel Alliance articles). Merger/Rename proposal

I'm in agreement regarding the proposed move to "Galactic Empire". Setting aside the usual sci-fi scale issues (although the licenced maps show them in charge of 2/3rds of the disk or so), it keeps things consistent with "Galactic Republic" (which, although in-universe often simply shortened to "Republic", is not what we're labelling it on the wiki), and avoids muddling with any smaller empires that are more prevalent in Transformers fiction. (Indeed, the paring down of "Confederacy of Independent Systems" to simply "Confederacy", while consistent with other-property-lore rules here, meant we needed a disambiguation for the article!)
