Talk:Fire on the Mountain (episode)
"Incaic Jewel"? Dis they make it a made-up civilization instead of the Incas in Japan? (Yes, it's relevant.) -Derik 09:17, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- *smacks forehead* Oh, it's the proper historical term for the Incas, nevermind. -Derik 09:28, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Voice track screwup?
[edit]At several points in the episode, the vocal tracks are played at the wrong speed. This is most noticeable right after Megatron shoots Brawn in the face (Brawn's voice is distorted, higher and faster than usual), and then when Megatron radios for Skywarp to join him in battle (the opposite—Megs' voice is unevenly lower and slower than normal). These errors were (somehow) corrected on the Shout! Factory release.
For Brawn, his lines are indeed a bit more high-pitched and Sunstreaker-esque than usual... but they're identical in the Rhino and Shout! releases (I just watched them both one after the other.) So are Megatron's lines as he summons Skywarp... and I really don't even hear anything wrong with his voice there. He's sounded even more deep and gravelly in other episodes. Hence I'm cutting this unless someone steps up to explain it further. -- Repowers 19:30, 3 January 2010 (EST)
- I based this on the Malofilm tapes and I was pretty sure the problems continued into Kid Rhino too. Unfortunately I haven't owned a VCR for about 5 years--even my parents don't own one anymore!--and I don't expect YouTube clips will specify if they come from the Malofilm stock. So.... I'm not sure how I could possibly back this up. Sorry? --Thylacine 2000 22:22, 3 January 2010 (EST)
- Almost everything you find on YouTube comes from the Rhino releases (the extra sound effects are pretty hard to miss.) One day I intend to dig out my old broadcast videotapes and do a comparison of each ep... not tonight, though! I'm pretty sure, thought, that Brawn's odd voice goes back to the original broadcast release. -- Repowers 23:20, 3 January 2010 (EST)
Animation/Technical glitches: Skyfire and the slagged cannon
[edit]I was about to remove this part in the article, but I didn't know if the person who wrote that meant the first time Skyfire tried to do it (and got blasted by Starscream) or the time Skyfire strafed it. If it was the first time, the cannon was partially melted due to the inferior steel, thus it wasn't an error. - Zadok Rox 14:53, 25 January 2010 (EST)
Starscream's hidden missiles
[edit]I think these are the same ones he used on the Dinobots previously. Those seemed to come from the same place on his body. And going by "Heavy Metal War" I think these are his cluster bombs. ZeldaTheSwordsman 00:44, 24 April 2010 (EDT)
Brawn's Invulnerability trivia note
[edit]Currently the article states that Brawn actually dodges all of Megatron's attacks. But about 7:30, after Megatron calls him a midget, he aims and hits Brawn DIRECTLY on the chest, about where his right shoulder meets his torso. When in gun mode wielded by Soundwave, he DOES dodge the attacks, however. Magaroja (talk) 11:52, 24 November 2013 (EST)
