Talk:Insecticon (WFC)
Umm...were they actually called Insecticons in there? I didn't think so. Looking back at the chapter to check. --ZacWilliam 13:18, 28 July 2010 (EDT)
- "Back in the center of the pit, he kicked apart the remains of the combined Insecticon flyer and flung pieces of it into the crowd for trophies." Alientraveller 13:29, 28 July 2010 (EDT)
Overhaul or new page needed...
[edit]So the Insecticons in FoC are gonna be a whole race, seperate page or total overhaul for this one?--76.28.76.206 13:04, 26 October 2011 (EDT)
- Given that what little information we have on the FOC Insecticons suggests they were created by (or at least have some connection to) Shockwave, I would vote for overhaul. But I suggest we hold off on any major action until the game comes out.Flydie 16:53, 26 October 2011 (EDT)
- Actually IIRC the info HM's released says they are a race of ancient animalish bots freed from beneath Cybertron by the events of the first game, Shockwave then captures and experiments on them. That's a big overhaul, but doable.--76.28.76.206 16:59, 26 October 2011 (EDT)
- It could be that the combiners in the first book took their name from the actual Insecticon species (like how wrestlers/fighters name themselves after animals), but that's just my wild speculation. I think that we should have Insection (FOC) as a new page for the time being and note the discrepancy on both. Tom Servo the Great 17:15, 26 October 2011 (EDT)

"Vermin"
[edit]Is it safe to add in what info we have from Orion Pax Pt. 2?192.249.47.177 15:21, 2 March 2012 (EST)
Parenthetical
[edit]So... they're not featured in War for Cybertron, but we gave them a WFC parenthetical... why?--RosicrucianTalk 00:35, 4 March 2012 (EST)
Named Insecticon
[edit]The new episode "Toxicity" features the Insecticon 'Hardshell' who has also been confirmed to appear in the Fall Of Cybertron game. There is a trailer on Youtube and TFW2005 from The Hub, and on the Page "Transformers Game" which is ran by Highmoon, there is an in-game image of a very G1 looking Bombshell (Renamed Hardshell) --Swoop 21:45, 22 May 2012 (EDT)
- Er, yes? this is something we already knew. --abates 22:03, 22 May 2012 (EDT)
New image
[edit]Shouldn't we replace the image with one from the show? Everything else has.
Robots in Disguise (2015)
[edit]Are Saberhorn and Glowstrike Insecticons?--RoboWarriorPrime (talk), 27 February 2019 (EST)
How can they not be Insecticons? And Zizza? (talk), 27 February 2019 (EST)
- Because they've never been referred to as Insecticons in any media, toy packaging, etc.? -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 19:20, 27 February 2019 (EST)
- But they transform into insects RoboWarriorPrime (talk), 28 February 2019
- So? There's lots of Decepticons that transform into construction vehicles that aren't Constructicons. And lots of Autobots that transform into aircraft that aren't Aerialbots.--Khajidha (talk) 05:39, 28 February 2019 (EST)
- I know, but both Aerialbots and Constructicons are military subgroups so if another bot or con transforms into an aircraft (or a construction vehicle) he/she may not even be their member. But the Insecticons are a Cybertronian race; so if Glowstrike, Saberhorn and Zizza naturally transform into insects, it's very very very unlikely they are normal Cybertronians. RoboWarriorPrime (talk), 28 February 2019
- Lots of unlikely things happen. The bottom line is that unless an official source says it, we can't say it. --Khajidha (talk) 07:43, 28 February 2019 (EST)
- Ok--RoboWarriorPrime (talk), 28 February 2019
