I believe it's a reference to Nosecone's ubiquity in Transformers collections-- "9 out of 10 TF lots on e-bay have a Nosecone" etc. He was interesting-looking and cheap enough to be widely purchased, but boring enough (as a character) that no one formed attachments to him, so he just kinda wanders around loose... -Derik 21:43, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

I think the caption under the last photo is completely asinine. It would be funny if there had ever been a suggestion that Transformers of this era were supposed to be in disguise, but they weren't. First off all, the entire theme of this team is "futuristic", so come on... let's not make fun of them for getting it right. IDW Comic

Just reading the comic Chaos part 2, numbers and the scene where the two techno bots are in Kimia. There is Lightspeed and he refers too Nosecone and they then blow up the base. Is this just a misprint and its supposed to be Afterburner. I found the drawing with this arc horrific and can't tell by looking at anyone who is who --GuanYu79 (talk) 20:26, 10 June 2017 (EDT)
