Beast Wars Neo crew
[edit]My understanding was that the Angolmois energy was what the BW2 Maximals used to create the Neo races. It had been used in that manner before (LCjr,BC,Magma), they had reason to have it, and how else WOULD THEY have turned organic creatures into TFs? Is there any reason to believe it wasn't the Angolmois? --ZacWilliam 17:45, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- It was never explained in comic. The only things we could learn from the comic for sure are:
- Big was effected by the Angolmois energy and evolved by Lio Convoy.
- Magmatron and his force were effected and evovled by the Angolmois energy.
- Cohrada is the only one whose home planet has the Capsule. But the connection between the evolution and the capsule is unclear. We could only assume maybe they are connected.
- The rest of the species like penguins, rabbits, giraffes, and Tanuki were evolved by Bighorn, Kid, Apache, and Diver respectively. The comic only mentioned they did it but never explained how, though. --TX55 17:56, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
About the Gods
[edit]Uh, I just remove the Gods because the introduction section is most all around the Transformer race only. (Alhough Gods' physical bodies are Transformers, but they are quite different to the Transformers constitutionally, esp. Chronarchitect seems has no Transformer body.) --TX55 04:03, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Rid
[edit]uh, why does the Rid section use the japanese names?
More brothers
[edit]Didn't the bios for Rodimus (Energon) and Inferno (Energon) say they were brothers? 90.192.94.228 14:46, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Bumblebee and Wasp
[edit]It's stated in Autoboot Camp that Bumblebee and Wasp came from the same protoform. Does that technically make them siblings? Cousins perhaps? -- Cyberlink420 17:13, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Same Protoform mold. Clampdown and Deepcover considered themselves brother because they were based on the same model- but that seems to also be their choice. In most cases family bonds for TF seems to be one they choose to form, not ones that are thrust upon them. -Derik 17:16, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Optimus and Megatron
[edit]In one of those titan comics Barricade said that they aren't brothers and only referred to each other as that because they've known eachother for so long. It's kind of like Side Swipe calling Hot Shot that. Also, why does other relatives mention Jetfire's father? --Ninjabot33 13:48, 28 May 2010 (EDT)
- I wonder if there was ever a source that said more definitively that they were brothers in a way that couldn't be interpreted as them just calling each other that. Maybe something lost to the internets, like an old version of Hasbro's online Timeline. I can check the Ghosts of Yesterday. - Starfield 14:46, 28 May 2010 (EDT)
- No nothing in Ghosts of Yesterday. - Starfield 11:51, 5 June 2010 (EDT)
- According to Megatron's page, in The Quest for the AllSpark they are called twin brothers, which can't really be interpreted as them just calling each other brothers. - Starfield 10:09, 16 June 2010 (EDT)
"Uncle by"?
[edit]What does this mean? "Optimus Prime and Megatron's great great great great great great...great grandfather or uncle by Jetfire in Revenge of the Fallen." I have no idea what an "uncle by" is. --Khajidha 11:51, 30 August 2010 (EDT)
Ironhide's Brother
[edit]I think that Ironhide didn't mean "brother from another batch proto-initiator" literally. It sounds a lot like the term "brother from another mother". Just saying--68.200.62.165 11:51, 12 January 2011 (EST)
Hydra and Buster
[edit]The page is created for relatives for Transformer race in the very first beginning since in normal condition, it is special/strange that a mechanical being has relatives. Hydra and Buster were originally human, thus there is nothing special for them to be here. Unless they are not only examples, I'll add them and put "Some Transformer siblings are because they were once organic beings, so (blah)" in the "Possible explanations" section. --TX55TALK 02:34, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
- No doubt this page needs to be improved to talk about the phenomenon more and become less example-throwery, but as it is, I think throwing out Hydra and Buster from this list is akin to throwing out Minerva from the femTF list/article because we know why she identifies as female. These pages aren't exclusively about tackling "the mystery". If we have the or an answer, it should be noted. TF Hydra and Buster are brothers because hume Hydra and Buster were and even though they are a special case of TF siblinghood, they are a case of TF siblinghood and should be mentioned. Do dubs count?
[edit]Many dubs are far from perfect and may contain errors, so I guess we shouldn't take them into the account. If we will, Miko must play, or at least know, Warhammer 40000 according to what she says in the Russian dub. 178.66.67.109 15:44, 13 August 2012 (EDT)
Twitch and Wheeljack
[edit]Is it worth putting here? Especially with the Dad2 situation.Poliwag06 (talk) 09:17, 31 March 2023 (EDT)
- Probably about as fine as the movie versions of Prime and Megs being called brothers -Tetratron
