I get just a blank page when I try to read the article, but all other aspects seem to work fine. Is this something I can fix?--G.B. Blackrock 19:32, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

It is something Suki can work on if you point it out to her at Transformers Wiki Talk:Community Portal/Arriving2--RosicrucianTalk 19:35, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

We need to make this art official so we can use it: Evan Gauntt's DA page --ItsWalky 01:46, 20 December 2009 (EST)

It will be great for Soundwave's mainpic! --TX55TALK 02:45, 20 December 2009 (EST)
Can we make it his mainpic? The current one is boring. If we can't, could I replace it with the one of him punching blaster? Abejorro97 (talk) 15:51, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
A character's main image is standardly one of their first known body. His van design is a later body. That is why we use the current image, because it is the best art of his original body. And, no, we can't use fan art. --ItsWalky (talk) 16:50, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
No fanart; ok. But I still say we should replace it. What about main cast characters from Transformers Animated? We don't use pics of their Cybertronian modes as mainpics even though how they all appeared in the first episode. (Megatron didn't get his mainpic form until the end of the season.) Or what about all the characters in Transformers Prime or RID that previously appeared in WFC/FOC? The issue Shattered Glass is the only time Soundwave visually appeared in that form, plus, as the caption suggests, he's not the center of attention in that image. I also think the first official toy intended to be the character should be an important factor in deciding the mainpic. Abejorro97 (talk) 02:08, 21 September 2015 (EDT)
Specifically, the standard is first body with an Earth alt mode, hence the Animated and Aligned mainpics. Jalaguy (talk) 11:00, 21 September 2015 (EDT)
I hope you realize that "first official toy intended to be the character" rules out like the entire 1984-1985 toyline, right? Those dudes were repurposed Diaclones and Micromen. Mind, it'd mean we'd have to change G1 Megatron's main image to his Action Master packaging art, which I am absolutely totally for, but oh well whatcha gonna do. --ItsWalky (talk) 11:23, 21 September 2015 (EDT)
In response to Jalaguy, then we should use a different image of Soundwave, because the current mainpic features his pre-earth form, while the one of him punching Blaster features his first body with an Earth alt mode. In Response to ItsWalky, repackaging is greater than repurposing. The Diaclone/Micromen toys weren't just repurposed, but they they were all later repackaged and were intended to be their respective characters, with names, mottos and bios specific to them. Music Label Soundwave was never officially released as Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave. Also, I only said that it should be "an important factor in deciding the mainpic" as I recognize there are other factors. I also argued that the current mainpic features a form that's rarely seen in fiction and that other characters don't necessarily use "their first known body" as you suggested. It's also not his "first body with an Earth alt mode" as Jalaguy said the standard was. That would go to his Ironhide repaint. Therefore, I still say we should change it. (I personally prefer the one of him punching blaster, but whatever.) Abejorro97 (talk) 20:52, 21 September 2015 (EDT)

Don't SG Rumble, Garboil, and Howlback count as Soudwave's cassettes? --75.82.9.197 22:27, 26 December 2011 (EST)

Well, Rumble's dead. And Garboil and Howlback weren't introduced until after that intro was written. And since you're the one who noticed it's not up-to-date, it's your job to fix it, pal! --ItsWalky 00:26, 27 December 2011 (EST)

Lol, I was like "WTF is this?" when I saw this while searching for ROTF Soundwave. ---Blackout- 06:48, 1 July 2010 (EDT)

Why isn't this guy and the other Shattered Glass guys considered Hall of Famers

Because they are the complete polar opposites of the Hall of Fame characters. -- Semysane 23:22, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
I don't see how that is relevant given that Hasbro said that "no version of Optimus Prime" was eligible for fan voting because they were ALL already in. We here on the wiki make a much bigger deal out of the so called different Optimus Primes, to Hasbro the name and the character are one. I could have sworn I even saw a picture of an SG Prime in the toy display for OP's HOF induction, but would like someone else to back me up on this. --Khajidha 10:56, 30 August 2011 (EDT)

Is Sir Soundwave supposed to be like a Ninja Turtle? --184.13.196.220 13:59, 25 December 2011 (EST)

I believe the inspiration is Tommy Chong. --ItsWalky 15:16, 25 December 2011 (EST)
Nope. He's more Bill S. Preston Esq. and "Ted" Theodore Logan, with a big heaping helping of Val Halen. --M Sipher 06:32, 27 December 2011 (EST)
