Talk:T-Wrecks
What part of his Beast Machines bio card hints at him being Grimlock? Lightsyder 21:28, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- It calls him a "former attack specialist," and "attack specialist" was Beast Wars Grimlock's function. It also says he was stationed in the Mirtonian Constellation, which is a G2 reference, as well as being nicknamed "Big Rex," which is a reference to Grimlocks' "Big Grim" tattoo in the G2 comics. They both have jaws which can "break almost anything in two." --ItsWalky 22:20, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- There are several small hints- and one incredibly blunt hint ('former attack specialist,' there's only one prior attack specialist-- BW Grimlock.) Apparently the BM Dinobots were going to be the G1 dinobots- then the idea was scrapped. The other Dinobots apparently had their bios rewritten (or had never been written before the idea was scrapped,) but they just changed the name on the T-Wrecks bio without realizing it has several direct references to Grimlock.
- So- was he supposed to be Grimlock (undercover maybe?) Almost certainly not. Nontheless his bio card paints a picture with only one possible match, and the canon says what is says.
- Grimlock going undercover certainly isn't inconceivable, his speech impediment is an affectation after all. -Derik 04:04, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Diablo
[edit]Does he look exactly like Primal Rage Diablo to anyone else?KrytenKoro 20:27, 13 April 2009 (EDT)
- Oh yeah, he does! http://www.atarigames.com/files/page1_blog_entry18_1.gif Man, I haven't played that game in ages, so I didn't notice it before. -- Semysane 21:18, 13 April 2009 (EDT)
Kingdom Toy
[edit]The Kingdom toy got released in Australia... there's no stock photos yet of the figure, but listings for the figure do exist, and there's photo proof of the package as well. https://news.tfw2005.com/2021/05/23/transformers-kingdom-t-wrecks-found-at-australian-retail-434032
Would this count as proof enough to let it be on the wiki? After all, doesn't look fake, the packaging's different (T-Wrecks's beast mode is more lower down to the ground, and the tails for both Megatron and T-Wrecks are different.) Just want to make sure before we do anything here. ApocalypseThruster (talk) 01:52, 24 May 2021 (EDT)
- It was brought up on Discord but nothing came of it. I'd say it's reason enough for the toy being listed on this page, but as the exclusivity of the toy isn't really known, other than a few leaks (nothing set in concrete), I'm not sure where it should be listed on the Kingdom toyline page at this time. Since it was found in a Toyworld in Aussie, I check both the Australian and New Zealand Toyworld websites but couldn't find anything. My local Toyworld here in NZ takes like 6 months to restock anything and most of the time it excludes Leader Class toys, so I've asked in a NZ Facebook group to see if anyone can spot it in their local Toyworlds. add toys to grimlock page
[edit]we've already established that t-wrecks might be grimlock, but should we add his toys to the grimlock toy page and say "oh he might be grimlock according to the BM toy bio" or no? just an idea —The preceding unsigned comment was added by P.p. pie (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
