Japanese title

[edit]

Is "Insectron Syndrome" really different enough from "The Insecticon Syndrome" to warrant listing? The lack of the definite article doesn't impress me and Insectron is simply the Japanese word for Insecticon. Khajidha 01:19, 26 June 2009 (EDT)

Cerebro Shells Trivia

[edit]

"Bombshell sure gets upset when one of his (presumitively limitless) cerebro-shells is destroyed. Getting a little attached there buddy?"

I thought that was supposed to be in reference to his shells being used against him if removed, like in G.I. Joe vs. The Transformers #3 where Mainframe was probing one and Bombshell was malfuntioning. He was holding his head in the episode like he was in pain, but maybe I'm just imagining things. Huh. I never read it that way, but given his body language in the scene, I suppose it's a valid interpretation. It makes at least as much sense as him being a bizarre drama queen over a mass-produced bit of hardware. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's obvious, but maybe worth a small note. -- Repowers 16:48, 8 July 2009 (EDT)
Yeah, watched on mute his agony is obvious. It's his dialog that's makes it seem like emotional anguish. (It's ambiguous enough that he could just be upset about being in pain.) -Derik 18:46, 8 July 2009 (EDT)

Possible slight Diaclone reference?

[edit]

We have the Optimus, the Autobot cars, and the Seekers (all of whose toys were good guy units in Diaclone), versus the Insecticons (whose toys were bad-guy units in Diaclone). Could it have been on purpose? ZTS is Very Sorry (talk) 20:32, 16 October 2014 (EDT)

Has Douglas Booth mentioned any awareness of the Diaclone toyline in interviews? Otherwise it seems like it'd be a stretch. --abates (talk) 21:13, 16 October 2014 (EDT)
