Actually, Steve-o, the thing about the titles of the books on the inside cover is that the way they parse it differs from issue to issue. We had a tiff about that earlier. --ItsWalky 06:44, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Oh. I checked a bunch of talk pages before doing it... sorry. It wasn't mentioned on the talk for IDW, Spotlight, or Spotlight Hot Rod... where is it? --Steve-o 16:27, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Apparently on the comments on the history of this page. --ItsWalky 16:36, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Would anybody mind too much if I sorted the information into a kind of grid?, with a column for character, co-stars, artist, writer, release date? it just strikes me as being much easier than three subsequent lists. --Zodberg 07:33, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

...why do we have this metadata in the spotlight article? It's pointless for somethign that is essentially a series of 1-shots. -Derik 08:29, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Uh.... yeah. Especially since Furman doesn't write all of them... I say drop the metadata and just have a list of issues. --M Sipher 08:30, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Um, yeah. So... why's this stuff still here? -- Repowers 15:24, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

So I was at an elementary school Scholastic Book Fair recently and found a paperback Transformers tpb that collected Spotlights for Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Grimlock, Shockwave, Soundwave, and Ramjet. It wasn't library bound, and didn't really have any indications of being Spotlights. (as if all the relevant info had been minimized to make the book more accessible to second graders)

Any idea what this is? Skyshock Thunderblast 07:54, 29 October 2009 (EDT)

Did you buy it? If so, any way to scan the covers and interior credits? MistaTee 09:01, 29 October 2009 (EDT)
Sounds like this list item: "Six Spotlight issues were also library bound and available for sale through ABDO Publishing Group and its aptly named subsidiary, Spotlight." --Jeysie 18:10, 29 October 2009 (EDT)
Sounded like that to me, too, but this has a paper back cover, and I always thought library bound referred to those extra thick hardback covers library books have. I did buy it, but why would I scan it? Skyshock Thunderblast 05:18, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
Yeah, library-bound specifically means it's super-durable hardbacky-style. If it's soft-cover, it's not the same thing. A scan, I think, would be useful if we were determining who published it and why. But if you've got the book in-hand, you wouldn't need to keep a scanned copy for reference. --ItsWalky 10:15, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
The books referenced library-bound note were indeed hardcover. I found them at my local library and my first thought was "The wiki needs to know about these!" The six Skyshock Thunderblast found seem to be different issues as well from the original six I located. --Bluestreak7 10:19, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
What Walky said. Also, the whole thing wouldn't need to be scanned, just the front and back cover (and maybe the publishing credits page), if you could be so kind :) --MistaTee 15:24, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
My brother actually has a copy of this. I'd be glad to scan the covers and give the publishing credit info, just give me some time. Also worth noting, it's censored in some parts and not others. I'm willing to scan the censored panels too, if need be. Antimatter 18:25, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
Front Cover, Publishing Info and Back Cover Apologies if the images aren't of a high enough quality to use. Antimatter 18:51, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
Thank you. This release is weird! Can't even look up by ISBN, it's as if it doesn't exist. Could it possibly be some sort of bootleg IDW comic??--MistaTee 00:29, 31 October 2009 (EDT)
