Talk:Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (toyline)
Desert Tracker Ratchet
[edit]Are we sure that's the Hasbro name for the Voyager? Takara also calls the EZ Collection toy that, whereas Hasbro call their Legends version simply "Autobot Ratchet". Likewise, Takara slaps "Autobot" in front of Breakaway and Knock Out and "Decepticon" in front of Rampage, none of whom need those modifiers in the Hasbro version.--Nevermore 06:33, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
Links
[edit]Is it just me or would it make more sense for links from this toyline page to take you to the toy in question? While generally it makes sense for a link to take you to the character; the focus of this page is the toys, so it would seem that those are what people want to see when they click on the links. Walmart links
[edit]FYI: Walmart.com took down all those nice links. Oops. Also, were Ramjet and Skywarp officially announced? - Starfield 11:46, 6 May 2009 (EDT)
- I wish you hadn't put all those damn links in our pages to begin with! I removed what I could yesterday, but now the ones that remain are apparently dead. Listing when and where a toy was first "announced" is not a necessary thing. --ItsWalky 12:35, 6 May 2009 (EDT)
- OK. I was blindly following someone's lead. I was just hoping they still count as officially announced even though it has been taken down. - Starfield 12:44, 6 May 2009 (EDT)
- I was the one who initially put all those citation links up, on the off-chance somebody would be all "HEY WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT THIS IS OFFICIAL? BLARGH BLARGH" before I uploaded the official pics, because several of the new molds were first seen some time ago via leaks. Shows what I get for being thorough. --FFN 13:13, 6 May 2009 (EDT)

Human Alliance
[edit]Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but has hasbro actually confirmed the third human alliance set? The fact that it was added by an unregistered user sent alarm bells ringing, and I'm certain I'd have heard about it if it were true.Thelastallosaur 11:19, 24 May 2009 (EDT)
- As I recall, Skids with Mikeala were listed on Amazon. --FFN 11:24, 24 May 2009 (EDT)
Legends Devastator
[edit]Shouldn't we list this under the Japanese version for the time being? A Hasbro version hasn't been announced yet to my knowledge.--Nevermore 06:28, 27 May 2009 (EDT)
Whirl and Bludgeon
[edit]Aren't they Walmart exclusives? --206.253.51.107 13:57, 29 May 2009 (EDT)
Leader Starscream
[edit]Is this official at all? I believe it's just fan speculation, not official words from Hasbro. 68.148.133.58 21:09, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
Nevermind... looks like there is.. 68.148.133.58 22:00, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
- Usually when an established member of this wiki adds something to this list, it has been officially confirmed in some manner, usually by statement by the official parties or official images. --FFN 06:35, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
Toys only confirmed for Japan for the time being
[edit]Before, it was the Legends Constructicons. Now, it's Buster Optimus Prime.
I'm wondering if we should be really thorough and list them under "Currently only confirmed for Japan" until we see evidence to the contrary, or whether we should jump the gun and just assume that Hasbro will release them eventually. As the Constructicons example shows, that can be a little presumptuous, and the venue might turn out to be wrong. They were originally listed under "Legends", and then Hasbro said they will be a store exclusive.
Now, Buster Optimus Prime is slated by Takara for a higher price than the original ROTF Leader Prime. Either Hasbro will gut a lot of the accessories, or they will release him as an exclusive, or... Anyway, any of that is pure speculation, and I'd prefer to have the toy list reflect information that is actually known (i.e. "only confirmed for Japan"), not speculation.--Nevermore 03:45, 6 July 2009 (EDT)
- Created a new section. EZ Devastator remains there until Hasbro's word on the matter is more than "We're looking into it". Also listing the exclusive black Soundwave there, so a Japan-only section might remain there under whatever name.--Nevermore 18:22, 25 July 2009 (EDT)
- Now that we know that Hasbro has released the Legends-class seven-piece Devastator, how will this portion of the article be rewritten? We need to note that the Constructicons were released individually. - Zadok Rox 13:47, 4 February 2010 (EST)
Thrust
[edit]Enough articles have appeared on sites like Seibertron.com showing that Thrust (Breakaway redeco) is coming. Can we add him to the list of Future Waves? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 147.140.233.16 (talk • contribs){{#if:13:09, July 21, 2009| 13:09, July 21, 2009|}}.
- Are these articles citing an official announcement or listings for the character appearing in stores computers?
- Or are they citing the appearance of stolen prototypes and packaging samples? -Derik 16:17, 21 July 2009 (EDT)
- No, no offical announcments from Hasbro as far as I know. Just people's personal posts with pics of him in and out of package.Riddlerj 16:24, 21 July 2009 (EDT)
Tokyo Toy Fair Prime
[edit]What about the Voyager Prime exclusive to the 2009 Tokyo Toy Fair? Same as the US version but without the Chinese lettering? Shouldn't this be listed here as well?
ARGH!!!!!!
[edit]WHAT IDIOT LOCKED THE PAGE!? I SAW VOAGER BLUDGEON , RECON IRONHIDE , AND THE ENTIER SEVENTH WAVE OF THE DELUXE CLASS , AND NOW I CAN'T EDIT THE FUCKING PAGE!!!!!! WHO DID THIS?! WHO?!?!?!?!?!? 65.49.190.17 20:59, 30 December 2009 (EST)
NEST Battle Pack and Shadow Command Megatron are both released.
[edit]I have personally picked up both the 2 pack of Bumblebee/Soundwave as well as Shadow Command Megatron 3 days ago at a Toys R Us, they've been available (at least in California) for a bit of a while now.
Transformer.com's list of Febraury exclusives
[edit]Got a bunch of new stuff to add. --ItsWalky 23:24, 26 January 2010 (EST)
NEST Global Alliance or N.E.S.T. Global Alliance?
[edit]I don't know how picky we want to be but the Hasbro website calls it "N.E.S.T. Global Alliance" all over the place. Should we go with that as the article name? - Starfield 12:40, 2 February 2010 (EST)
- Might as well since Hasbro is the authority on Transformers and Transformer toys. - Zadok Rox 15:21, 2 February 2010 (EST)
Spark Blast Jolt
[edit]Definitely released in Germany, as I picked up one for an Allspark member. Took photos inside the store too, I think. Never saw the Skids and Mudflap redecos, however.--Nevermore 11:55, 27 July 2011 (EDT)
Merge or not to merge the ROTF toyline and N.E.S.T. Global Alliance pages.
[edit]I think we should merge the toyline and the N.E.S.T. Global Alliance pages, since they're both from the Revenge of the Fallen movie. Besides, the reason why users here want their pages to be merged is the same from the Armada and The Unicron Battles, which by the time of this talk, they're already merged. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 18:13, 17 March 2021 (EST)
