Talk:Unspace
Merged discussion from "Talk:Subspace"
[edit]Random thought: should "infraspace" (Prime passes through it when he's dumping his Spark into his trailer section in Escalation) and "unspace" (where Nightbeat searches for Ratchet) be lumped under this entry? -- Repowers 19:47, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- As an extra-dimensional space related to Optimus Prime's trailer, the parallels are almost too tempting.--Rosicrucian 20:20, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think those two things, while they can be mentioned here, need to get articles of their own. --KilMichaelMcC 21:25, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think I would prefer a general "extradimensional spaces" article that discusses all of them. --Steve-o 15:43, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Would that then also need to catch other stuff like... I dunno, alternate universes? The Dead Universe? The previous incarnation of the universe that was consumed by Unicron in the comics? The Hole In The Universe from Energon? -- Repowers 15:47, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Um...shouldn't we do that already? -- SFH 16:16, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Witness the new Category:Dimensions for your convenience.--Rosicrucian 18:01, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Gone Too Far
[edit]Right. Gone Too Far has really redefined transwarp from "Beast Wars-style space/time travel" to "the general mash of multiversal everythingness, including space bridges, time travel, universe-hopping, and subspace". Should we move what's already here to something like Transwarp Drive and then document the new stuff here? Omnibus 00:17, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Merged discussion from "Talk:Bleed"
[edit]Where is this from? I looked through the text stories, but only Gone Too Far mentions the word "bleed", and it seems to be used as a verb rather than a noun. --abates 18:51, 5 January 2012 (EST)
- "Transcendent". —Interrobang 18:59, 5 January 2012 (EST)
- And if I'm right, it's a reference to Stormwatch and DC Comics. The name itself is a reference to ink splashing out of comic book panels and into the gutters, and it existed in DC continuity. Antimatter 21:06, 5 January 2012 (EST)
- Yup. Although it's since been retconned into the umbrella of "transwarp". Chris is working on the article. —Interrobang 21:13, 5 January 2012 (EST)

Featured article status
[edit]Man, this article is well on its way to Featured status. McFeely, you glorious madman. --M Sipher 17:52, 27 August 2013 (EDT)
- Mrrrrgh. Dunno. Been working on it off and on for what I'm sure is over a year, mainly just because the emptiness of the existing article annoyed me, but I can't crack it. I'm not sure where I want to take it. I sort of want to just talk about interdimensional space here, but it seems disingenuous to have an article called "transwarp" that doesn't talk about instances of the tech, and a redirect from "subspace" that doesn't talk about weapon displacement, even though we need to get a proper article for storage pockets that'll duplicate some of what's here, and I'm trying not to just go "yeah, space bridge here too". - Chris McFeely 18:15, 27 August 2013 (EDT)
- Starting to come together now, I think. Just want to illustrate the movie section and get the TransTech and Aligned stuff done. - Chris McFeely 19:30, 1 September 2013 (EDT)
Animated
[edit]Should we mention Blackarachnia's new application of transwarp technology in the episode Predacons Rising? I think it's worth mentioning. Abejorro97 (talk) 00:35, 15 January 2014 (EST)
Jazz in Dinobot Hunt
[edit]I'm pretty sure we used to have a bit on Jazz's weapon appearing out of nowhere in "Dinobot Hunt" (along with the accompanying image) - did it get cut? --Emvee (talk) 17:36, 8 September 2016 (EDT)
- Yeah, once I overhauled all this to be about the actual interdimensional realm, I removed it because it was an example of size-changing, rather than a subspace pocket. - Chris McFeely (talk) 17:41, 8 September 2016 (EDT)
