Early Leaks

[edit]

why was this episode released three days early? check youtube.. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 122.2.209.6 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

It wasn't officially released, someone leaked it. --Jeysie 23:39, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
kay' then, i was just a bit surprised by that. so all the info on it still gets written by the 29th right?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 122.2.209.6 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
We'll be allowed to write it up as soon as it officially airs on Cartoon Network on Saturday morning the 28th. --Jeysie 23:54, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
That was weird. Cartoon Network watermark on it and everything, but not the new one they used on the last two episodes. But yeah, that hasn't actually aired to my knowledge.--RosicrucianTalk 00:02, 25 March 2009 (EDT)
Word is that someone fished it from Cartoon Network's own video section by finding out where it had been pre-uploaded in anticipation of official release. Might well be the case, seeing as how the watermark is the same as the officially linked previous Animated eps on CN's video section, and it's nice quality. --Jeysie 00:19, 25 March 2009 (EDT)
Yep, same tactic was used earlier in the week when Ben 10 Alien Force's season finale got leaked. --FigmentJedi 11:43, 25 March 2009 (EDT)
And now "Five Servos of Doom" has been leaked too. At this rate we'll be seeing the whole season during the next week. 90.241.216.15 06:12, 27 March 2009 (EDT)
Should it be noted that bouth episodes got leaked in advance like the last few episodes of season 2?--Sunjumper 15:45, 27 March 2009 (EDT)
Not the same thing. The last few episodes of S2 had a legitimate foreign release. Here, people are just taking advantage of Cartoon Network's failure to set up basic website security (or their lack of caring). —Interrobang 17:59, 27 March 2009 (EDT)
I wish CN would get it in gear (or the leakers would stop being jerks, I'll take either). Where is Thy Sting? was halfway tolerable because it was just a few days ahead of time, but now it's starting to get annoying. --Jeysie 20:34, 27 March 2009 (EDT)

Nightbird reference?

[edit]

I couldn't really tell because of the quality of the videos on Youtube (and me being in Canada, hence I have not seen it on the tv screen) but the fighter that Bumblebee uses in his game looks a bit like Nightbird from G1. I can't really tell though. Can anyone that has seen it clearer confirm this? (Tribor 15:16, 28 March 2009 (EDT))

It's insectile and has multiple arms, so I don't think so. --ItsWalky 15:27, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
Not that one silly, the other fighter!(Tribor 15:39, 28 March 2009 (EDT))
but they already said it was snake eyes.--Zi 09:31, 29 March 2009 (EDT)
It doesn't look a thing like Snake-Eyes. Where exactly did you hear this? --Detour 12:38, 29 March 2009 (EDT)
Someone's added it to the article. - Chris McFeely 12:39, 29 March 2009 (EDT)
Yeah, no. It's an entirely black character with no defining traits, unlike Snake-Eyes who's full of visors and military and ninja gear. If it looks like anything, it looks like Noob Saibot. --Detour 12:51, 29 March 2009 (EDT)
The insecticide goon isn't the 3-armed Lunartix Alien from G.I. Joe, if you were wondering. -Derik 12:55, 29 March 2009 (EDT)
Well, SanityOrMadness managed to identify that four-armed bug as an old Micronaut toy, so it's not General Grievous. --Detour 13:12, 29 March 2009 (EDT)
[edit]

Does Safeguard really count separately from Jetfire & Jetstorm? - SanityOrMadness 13:46, 29 March 2009 (EDT)

Yes. Combined forms are separate characters. —Interrobang 19:42, 29 March 2009 (EDT)

A Prime Problem

[edit]

Seriously, how come this hasn't been mentioned? They try to work out which one is the Real Prime Bumblebee, using a Race Video Game. While this was successful (it scared Wasp into revealling himself), and it makes a bit more sense in this situation (Bumblebee had played the game a lot, so was probably indeed better at it than Wasp), but still, it is a similar idea to the Race and other contests in the old Cartoon episode, A Prime Problem.Shadow Mask Prime 08:45, 30 March 2009 (EDT)

Rain

[edit]

I just realised, if there is no liquid falling from the sky on Cybertron, how does Blitzwing know the Itsy Bitsy Spider song --Ninjabot33 12:09, 14 February 2010 (EST)

Who's to say the Cybertronian equivalent mentions rain? (I don't think he got far enough to say the term "water spout".) Pipes periodically flushed with liquid are likely known on Cybertron. That, or a wizard did it.--Apcog 14:17, 14 February 2010 (EST)
No, I'm pretty sure if you listen really carefully while they're arguing he sings enough of the song that you can hear water spouts and rain. --Ninjabot33 16:54, 20 February 2010 (EST)
Scratch that, I'm definitely sure he said rain. --Ninjabot33 17:23, 20 February 2010 (EST)
Who says the song even comes from Cybertron? The Decepticons have been away from Cybertron for quite a while by the start of the series, no? Blitzwing could have picked up the song elsewhere. -- Semysane 01:05, 21 February 2010 (EST)
