Primary timeline
[edit]The Age of Expansion
[edit]Early in Cybertron's history, the first thirteen Transformers were created, including Alchemist Prime, Onyx Prime, and Alpha Trion. Dweller In The Depths
During the Age of Expansion, several Titans spread across the galaxy to explore and establish new Cybertronian colonies, carrying citizens within them to populate these new worlds. A few of these, dubbed "War Titans", carried vast armies within them to aid in conquering hostile worlds. The Citizen One of these Titans, Croaton, landed on a planet and established a colony, only to be attacked by passing Quintessons, who abducted the citizens and left Croaton immobile and nearly drained of energon. Ghost Town
During this era, an entity known as the Crystalline King appeared on Cybertron and began to consume a forest with crystal, creating the Crystal City. Onyx dispatched Thunderhowl to destroy the city, but the knight fell victim to its traps and soon found himself trapped in crystal as well. Thunderhowl
In the aftermath of the Age of Expansion, all of the War Titans had perished save for Iaconus. Unable to adjust to peacetime, Iaconus went on a violent rampage, forcing his own citizens to put him down, with only Alchemist surviving. In time, Iaconus's burial ground would become the city of Iacon, and Alchemist would convert the slumbering Titan's uppermost level into a pub, which he would operate under the alias "Maccadam". Pre-War
[edit]Many years after the Age of Expansion, the Crystal City would eventually be discovered, and after being attacked by a crystalline doppelganger of Thunderhowl created by the Crystalline King, the Cybertronians would issue a warning to everyone that the area was off limits. Thunderhowl
During this time, Cybertronian culture would begin to develop, including entertainment, with one of the most popular being the television show Alien Hunt! starring Meteorfire and Cosmos. The two would explore distant worlds to find and document new alien life. However, on one particular escapade, Cosmos would find herself abducted by an obicular-class parasitic entity, and she forced herself and it to crash land on Luna 3 to prevent it from feeding on Cybertron's fears. Unable to cope with his friend's disappearance, Meterofire cancelled the show and became a recluse. Alien Hunt! With Meteorfire And Cosmos
Another popular pastime that began to spring up was sports such as Cube and gladiatorial combat, with Megatron becoming one of the most recognized names in the latter. The Citizen Megatron Is My Hero During one particular Cube match between the Iacon Wreckers and Polyhex teams, Bumblebee attempted to sneak into the game, inadvertently foiling a plot by Starscream to disrupt it with a reprogrammed cube in the process. It was at this match where he first met Windblade, who had recently come to Cybertron from Caminus, and the two became fast friends. Cube After the game, Bumblebee invited Windblade to Maccadam's for a drink and to meet his friends. Maccadam's
Shortly thereafter, Megatron began a campaign for equal rights for all Cybertronian citizens. Supported by his friend Optimus, he held a public rally, dubbing followers of his movement as "Decepticons". In time, however, Megatron's personality took a darker turn, and he began seeking to enforce "equality" by building his own power. After unsuccessfully attempting to convince Megatron to stand down, Optimus and Bumblebee left the Decepticon movement, with his followers eventually coming to be known as Autobots, and Megatron declared open war against them. Early War
[edit]Early on in the war, the Decepticons held a beatboxing competition at Maccadam's. Soundwave trounced Soundblaster, who was so incensed by the loss that he left the faction and became a mercenary. The Immobilizers On the planet Velocitron, a carrier managed to unleash a Plague of Rust infection that consumed everyone and everything, with the visiting Bumblebee and Hot Rod being the only ones to escape unscathed. Terminal Velocity
Megatron's wartime tactics escalated when he massacred all of Cybertron's High Council. In his dying moments, Alpha Trion bequeathed the Matrix of Leadership to Optimus, who became Optimus Prime. Matrix of Leadership A communications hub was established on Luna 3, but when the obicular-class parasitic entity began feeding on the fears of those stationed there, the moon was quarantined behind a force field and forbidden from access. Alien Hunt! With Meteorfire And Cosmos
As part of a long-term plot, the Decepticon Deadlock feigned defection to the Autobots and changed his name to Drift. Maccadam's Optimus was later taken captive by the Decepticon Shadow Striker and her Seeker cronies. Bumblebee rescued Optimus, with a blast from his firearm igniting a nearby energon tank, destroying the Seekers and severely wounding Shadowstriker. Shockwave repaired the damaged Decepticon using the remains of her subordinates, turning her into a misshapen, malfunctioning monstrosity.
Later, the Decepticons hijacked an energon tanker, attempting to crash it into Iacon. Bumblebee attempted to stop it, but was intercepted by the reconstructed Shadow Striker, who now carried a grudge against him for ruining her life. The tanker crashed in a remote area, sinking into ice, and Bumblebee managed to escape while Shadow Striker retreated to fight another day. Shadowstriker As all this occurred, Megatron and Optimus tried time and time again to draft a peace treaty to end the violence, but they could never agree on the terms. Parley Hostilities between the factions continued to escalate, with a particular skirmish between Jetfire and Sky-Byte resulting in a supernova that wiped out multiple civilizations and, allegedly, both combatants. Infinite Vendetta
Loss of the AllSpark
[edit]The Decepticons eventually captured the supercomputer Vector Sigma, with Megatron planning to use it to reprogram the life-giving AllSpark to create a new generation of Decepticons. Bumblebee infiltrated Shockwave's lab and discovered their plan, but was found and apprehended. To keep him from talking, Megatron ripped out Bumblebee's voicebox. Megatron Is My Hero Realizing the threat posed, Optimus ordered Bumblebee to bring him the AllSpark for safe storage. When their hiding place was found and destroyed by the Decepticons, Optimus decided instead to take it far away from Cybertron. Another interception by the Decepticons forced Optimus to hurl the relic through a spacebridge, sending it to parts unknown. Allspark Unbeknownst to everyone, the AllSpark crashed on Earth during the era of Pangaea, and created the being Cheetor to act as its guardian. Trials Dark Birth
The effects of losing the AllSpark were felt almost immediately. Without its power, the planet began quickly losing energy and falling to ruin. Realizing the harm his actions had wrought, Optimus decided that they would need to find and retrieve the AllSpark to save the dying planet. Matrix of Leadership After sharing a final farewell, Bumblebee joined Optimus and several others aboard the spacecraft the Ark to search for the AllSpark, while Windblade stayed behind with a small contingent to hold things down on Cybertron. Maccadam's Memory
After a long and fruitless search, the ship eventually began to run low on energon. Following an unsuccessful refueling attempt on a planet of insectoid cave monsters, Optimus decided to have the crew enter statis to conserve power while Teletraan-1 took control of the ship. Just as everyone entered stasis, Teletraan-1 detected the AllSpark and set course for Earth. The Journey As the ship approached the planet, it was pulled into the atmosphere and suffered a hull breach, with Bumblebee, Grimlock, and Wildwheel falling through the opening towards the planet. King of the Dinosaurs Wild Wild Wheel With its systems failing, Teletraan-1 ejected its auxiliary backup unit, Teletraan-X, before the ship crashed into the side of what would one day become Mount St. Hilary, becoming buried under rubble.
Grimlock survived his fall and searched for the crashed ship, even befriending some of the local dinosaurs to help him. When a meteor began approaching the Earth, Grimlock recorded a message encouraging courage and good cheer in the face of catastrophe, but he eventually ran out of power and was buried following the meteor's impact, which wiped out the dinosaurs. King of the Dinosaurs Unbeknownst to Grimlock, his message managed to reach a distant planet, whose inhabitants embraced his message and reformatted themselves to resemble him and his dino buddies. Search for the Ark
[edit]Wildwheel eventually woke 65 million years later in the late 19th century and, resentful of his apparent abandonment by his comrades, joined a gang of outlaws before eventually leaving Earth to travel the stars as a bounty hunter. Wild Wild Wheel
Over a century later in the 1980s, Bumblebee finally awoke in the Himalayas, though amnesiac due to his memory chip being damaged. Whiteout At around the same time on Cybertron, the Decepticons had determined the AllSpark to be on Earth and sent their forces to retrieve it. To stop them, Perceptor managed to repair the destroyed spacebridge just long enough to send Windblade through it after them. After months of unsuccessful searching, Windblade came across the wandering Bumblebee. Helping protect him from the attacking Thundercracker, Windblade used a cortical psychic patch to interface with Bumblebee's mind and attempt to restore his memories. Fractured

Alternate timeline
[edit]Shortly after the rise of Decepticonism, when Optimus confronted Megatron and demanded he stand down, Megatron decided there would be no hope of reasoning with Optimus, and instead decided to execute him then and there before taking the Matrix of Leadership for his own. With the Matrix's power and Optimus no longer there to lead, Megatron quickly succeeded in wiping out the Autobots. Now fully unopposed, he next killed the other Decepticons, replacing them with his own legion of perfect Decepticon supersoldiers engineered using Vector Sigma and the AllSpark. Eons later, when the Quintessons came to invade, Megatron eliminated them just as easily, and co-opted their multiverse-traveling technology for his own ends. The Other One
Around the same time, the primary Megatron and Dead End arrived in this dimension. Realizing the risk "The Other One" posed, the two conspired with dimensional natives Astrotrain and the Insecticons, managing to steal the Matrix before beating a hasty retreat. Silent Strike Unwilling to let this stand, Megatron eventually located where they had escaped to, sending a legion of supersoldiers as an advance guard before following. The Other One Following his destruction, however, the Decepticon supersoldiers that were left behind destroyed Astrotrain in retribution before beginning to fight amongst themselves for dominance due to the nature of their programming. One of them, Tarn, began teleporting them all back to the primary universe as part of his bid to surpass Megatron by finishing his work. The Perfect Decepticon
