When Megazarak landed on Mars to distract the Autobots before they could stop his plans to blow up the planet, Raiden activated Kōken and attempted to take a swing on the gigantic Transformer. He was zapped by Megazarak before he could do so. Explosion on Mars!! MegaZarak Appears

MPG Trainbot Seizan comes with the Kōken, a translucent blue sword based on its appearance in the Headmasters cartoon. It can be handled by the Trainbot's combined form, Raiden, or any of the individual components in their robot modes.
The Kōken can be stored on the underside of Trainbot Getsuei's rail base.
