Muskhorn is a Beastformer from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Thankfully not Elon…

Though he's physically incredibly strong, true to his name, Muskhorn (ムスクホーン Musukuhōn) uses scent as his greatest weapon. A gentle soul, he has learned secret arts from deep within the West Yutoranta mountains, which allow him to hinder his foes and assist his allies. With the right scents generated by his MVP Weapon the Mind Sabel (マインドサーベル Maindo Sāberu), he can actually control other living beings for a short while, or temporarily draw out and enhance someone's latent superpowers. But scent is also his weakness: he's incredibly sensitive to foul odors, which can push him into a terrifying battle rage.

Now the King of West Yutoranta, Muskhorn spends his time practicing music, particularly the alpenhorn. He carries himself with a well-trained air, and uses his music to soothe the souls of his people. It's clearly working, since he's managed to tame the vicious Pangol, who has become a peaceful being and now serves as Muskhorn's subordinate Emperor.

Part of the third series of Takara's Beastformers toys, Muskhorn is an anthropomorphic musk ox in yellow robotic armor. The Battle Emblem on his chest reveals one of three symbols when warmed up; Fire, Water or Wood.
During this line, Muskhorn was only available in the Burstsun Special Set (バーストサンスペシャルセット Bāsutosan Supesharu Setto) multipack. This blindpacked set contains 10 figures out of a potential 14. Thankfully, these were not randomly-packed, and came in two distinct lineups.
The first version has White Leo with an exclusive "Burstsun" Battle Emblem, Black Jaguar, Būpink, Dog Hunter, Dream Eater, Muskhorn, Pangol, Slo, White Cow, and Udan.
The second version has Ghost Alligatron, Black Jaguar, Būpink, Crowmax, Earthhog, Mingo Kid, Pangol, Slo, White Cow, and Udan.

  • ID number: 64
  • Accessories: "Mind Sabel" MVP Weapon
Re-released in the Transformers-less Beastformers sequel series, Muskhorn was given a straight re-release with new packaging and a new, more filled-out bio card with corrected coloring. This new card also gave his weapon, now branded an "MVP Weapon", the name "Mind Sabel".
He was sold in the second assortment of individually-packed Beastformers, with a peg-hole in the top flap, and a sticker on the bottom with his name and role on it. This series did not have any kind of "rare card" random pack-in promotion.
