The sonic destabiliser is an experimental Decepticon weapon designed to forcibly sever a powerlinx between a Mini-Con and a Bulk.

[edit]When the Destruction Mini-Con Team powerlinxed with Cyclonus, they took control of his body and used him to attack the other Decepticons. In response to this threat, Starscream fetched the sonic destabiliser and successfully removed the pests from their host. Dawn of Destruction!
