  • Mini-Con Class 12 Pack (Multi-pack, 2008)
  • Series: Armada Series
  • Known designers: Joe Kyde (deco artist)
Universe Brimstone is a redeco of Classics Nightscream, transforming into a winged dragon. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on the underside of his dragon mode that allows him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.
His balljoints are particularly prone to popping apart, particularly during transformation, but they pop back together fairly easily.
He was originally available only as part of a Kmart exclusive twelve-pack, along with Backstop, Blight, Bodyblock, Boltflash, Cloudraker, Flatfoot, Heavytread, Knockdown, Makeshift, Skyhammer, and Suppressor.
This toy was repurposed as Generation 1 Brimstone. This mold was also used to make Dragoyell and Movie Advanced Series Sling.

  • Brimstone (Mini-Con, 2009)
Brimstone was also sold on an individual card in the U.S., first through discount chains like Big Lots! and then as part of the holiday toy stock up at Shop and Stop and Family Dollar. This release is identical to the multi-pack version.

The jolly, candy-like dragon!
  • Brimstone (Candy toy, 2010)
In the UK, all twelve Mini-Cons from the original "Mini-Con Class 12 Pack" set were released in individual blind-packed bags with "energon fizzy jellies" candies, distributed by The Little Factory Ltd.
Though all of these Mini-Cons are actually new molds with numerous tiny differences from the originals, Brimstone is one of the few toys with a major change: this version is cast in much brighter, more primary shades of green. His paint operations, however, use the same desaturated shades of green as the original.
This toy was repurposed as the TransTech Mini-Con Miss-Q.
