The name or term "Galvatron" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Galvatron (disambiguation).
Galvatron is a Decepticon from the brick-built world of Kre-O.
You gotta wonder how all that insanity is kept in such a tiny body.

Galvatron is the most evil, most fearsome, and most awesome thing to ever fall out of UniKREON's big fat mouth. Nothing will stand in the way of his supreme conquest of everything! Nothing but a few soon-to-be-disintegrated traitors.[1]

Fiction

Kre-O cartoon

Spinister, Galvatron, and Scorponok were sent by Megatron to rob the Autobot City Bank. In heavy disguise, they went in and got the drop on the bank tellers, only for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Wheeljack to turn up. The Decepticons called in Devastator, who ripped the roof off the bank and disposed of the three Autobots, allowing the robbers to raid the vault of energon. Quest for Energon, Part 1

Later Galvatron operated the machine to help make Megatron a grilled cheese sandwich, but failed to spot Wheeljack and Cliffjumper sneaking onto the work site. When the interlopers were spotted, Galvatron and the other Kreons surrounded them, but they were merely a diversion. Moments later, the Decepticons were pelted with molten cheese and tied up in a net. Quest for Energon, Part 2

A bunch of Vehicons were helping build the Galvatron Factory Battle set when Optimus came stomping in on the scene atop of Grimlock. The Decepticon Kreons scrambled in terror, and Galvatron wound up losing an arm when a Vehicon grabbed hold of it as he was being drawn into Grimlock's mouth. Kre-O Dino Force commercial

Megatron's ambition was to use Earth's bricks to build a planet-sized Galvatron-like body for himself. Megatron's Ambition!? The Solar Tower Is Built!

Knock Out invented a helmet that would upgrade Megatron to make him stronger, when he put it on his head, he was transformed into Galvatron. Galvatron went a destructive rampage causing Cyclonus to call the Autobots to stop him. In the end, the Autobots took his helmet off and he changed back into Megatron. But to Breakdown's horror, Knock Out starting creating more helmets for Megatron to try on. Enter the New Emperor of Destruction!?

Toys

Kre-O

Normally, it looks like a Kreon posed in a way that very vaguely resembles a cannon, but if you squint you can- Oh, forget it! Who am I kidding?

Part of a six-figure preview wave of Micro-Changer Kreons, Galvatron is a blindpacked bagged mini-figure. He comes with extra parts which help him form a crude artillery cannon form. He has a purple redeco of Sentinel Prime's helmet, an orange redeco of Megatron's fusion cannon and his body armor comes from Battleship US soldiers Kreons.

His name is misspelled in his packaging. Oops.
Though widely solicited, this wave of Custom Kreons ultimately never saw release outside of the Hasbro Toy Shop online store and Chinese-market distribution circles.

Age of Extinction

All of the Age of Extinction Kre-O sets were exclusive to ToysЯUs in the US... though some did eventually filter to closeout stores in mid-2015.
Why are drills my primary weapon, again? Did I use drills in the movie?

"Where is the Kraggle!?"
  • Galvatron Factory Battle (Kre-O set, 2014)
    • Set number: A6952

    • Kreons: Bumblebee, KSI Worker (lab worker), KSI Worker (security), Dr. Littleman, Optimus Prime, Vehicon
The Galvatron Factory Battle set comes with a large buildable Galvatron (gasp!) super-robot, a sort of mega-Kreon. He's designed to fit on a large movable working slab.
The set also comes with Kreons of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and a Vehicon, micro-Kreons of Dr. Littleman and two KSI Workers, as well as a buildable Dinobot raptor.

File:Kre-O-Grimlock-Unleashed-Galvatron-Kreon.jpg
Available in the Grimlock Unleashed set, this version of Galvatron has slight differences from the Custom Kreon. He lacks the metal-flake shimmer, plus he has a gray waistpiece and golden hands.

Yes, someone bought the movie just for the Kreons. We know. We know.
  • Transformers Kre-O + Movie Gift Pack (2014)
    • Accessories: 2 clip-on turbine/cannons
This Toys"R"Us exclusive Blu-Ray + DVD release of Age of Extinction includes a unique Galvatron Kreon, though at first glance you probably wouldn't realize that it's different from the "Grimlock Unleashed" version (see above). This version changes up which body parts use metal-flake medium-gray plastic and which use the metallic silver plastic (including his hands), has an even darker gray helmet, and completely new tampographs all around, possibly more movie-model-accurate? It's kind of hard to tell.
This set also included a similarly "just different enough to make you mad" Optimus Prime Kreon.
