Solar System

This article is about the actual Solar System. For the generic term that exists because people are dumb, see star system.

The Solar System (also referred to as the Sol System) is a star system dominated by the Sun.

Its known orbital bodies include:

• Mercury
• Venus
• Earth, and its moon, the Moon.
• Mars
• The asteroid belt, including Ceres, Juno, and Pallas
• Jupiter, and its moon Io
• Saturn, and its moon Titan
• Uranus
• Neptune
• Pluto

The Tenth Planet sounds like it belongs to the Solar System, but is actually located on the fringes of the Milky Way.

Marvel The Transformers comics

Shaken loose from its orbit, Cybertron drifted into the Sol system where it risked being destroyed by the asteroid belt. The Ark was launched to clear a path through the rock and, although the Ark was lost in a Decepticon attack, Cybertron drifted safely through the system. The Transformers

Four millions years later, Sky Lynx arrived in the system at Wheeljack's request to aid him in overthrowing the power mad Grimlock. Sky Lynx soon placed host to a quartet of human children and led them on a chase around the solar system, losing the Ark in the asteroid belt. Spacehikers!

The Steelhaven soon entered the solar system carrying a group of Autobots and Nebulans but the craft was pursued by Decepticons. Trial by Fire! At Fortress Maximus's instruction, Goldbug left the system aboard the Steelhaven to revive Optimus Prime. Totaled!

Earth's solar system was home to at least one other sentient race, the (not particularly tall) Titans who lived on Titan. The God Gambit

As part of a plan to harness Earth's energy, Megatron had Cybertron moved into Earth's solar system where its gravitational field caused chaos on Earth. The Ultimate Doom, Part 1 Cybertron was moved out of Earth's orbit soon enough and seemingly left in close proximity to (if not in) the solar system, considering the relative ease of travel between the two planets. By 2005, the Earth Defense Command had established various outposts in the solar system such as Outpost One in orbit of Pluto to monitor threats coming from beyond the solar system as well having a base on Mars. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 3

In 2007, Galvatron moved Cybertron back into the solar system as part of a scheme to use the Plasma Energy Chamber to destroy Earth via causing its star to go nova. A stay bolt of plasma energy struck Scorponok however sending the Decepticons hurtling out of the solar system. The Rebirth, Part 3

Megatron ordered Cybertron moved into Earth's solar system after Starscream had retrieved Bumblebee from the planet. I Saw Three Ships

After Megatron's defeat, the solar system was heavily colonized by both humans and Cybertronians. Rodimus meanwhile guided Primus back to his original orbit and out of the solar system. The War Never Ends

Acting on instructions from Megatron, The Agenda (Part 2) a new Megatron stole a ship and time travelled to Earth's solar system four million years in the past only to be pursued by the Axalon with both ships crashing on Earth. Beast Wars (Part 1)

A temporal probe entered the solar system to try and find the missing Axalon but found nothing and left. The Probe

The destruction of the Vok Planet Buster, Other Voices, Part 2 caused a transwarp wavefront to be sent into the future alerting the Predacons of the 24th century to the location of the Darksyde prompting them to send Ravage to eliminate the combatants of the Beast Wars. The Agenda (Part 1)

When Megatron had slain Optimus Prime, the resulting timestorm was centred in the solar system. The Agenda (Part III)

After the war ended, the Cybertronian/Human alliance established several energon mining facilities in the solar system. Cybertron City

Upon Earth's Cyber Planet Key being placed in the Omega Lock, a Space Bridge opened showing the black hole making it seem to the people of Earth as though the black hole was in their solar system. Revelation

Live-action film series

Somewhere around 17,000 years past, the Dynasty of Primes arrived in the solar system to construct a Star Harvester on the third planet of the solar system. Upon finding the solar system was inhabited however, they decided against using the Harvester. One of them disagreed with this notion and declared war on his brethren. Revenge of the Fallen The Harvester was left undisturbed on Earth even after the Primes left. The AllSpark, launched from Cybertron, sought out the Harvester and travelled to the solar system. As part of a plan to revive Cybertron, Sentinel Prime moved his homeworld into the solar system only for the transit to be interrupted by the Autobots. Dark of the Moon

The sorceress Quintessa used her powers to physically move Cybertron at 1/10 lightspeed into Earth's solar system with its approach being detected by human scientists. Cybertron was then left in Earth's orbit after partially draining the life from Unicron. The Last Knight

While fleeing the Nemesis, the crew of the Orion wound up passing through an AllSpark empowered Space Bridge and wound up in Earth's solar system. Transform and Roll Out

After gaining control over Omega Supreme as well as picking up Shockwave and Arcee, Megatron transwarped back to Earth's solar system to ready his ultimate victory. This Is Why I Hate Machines

Aligned continuity family
