"We're the Guardians of the Galaxy."

Lockdown has a big ship, and thus needs someone to run things aboard. Thankfully, he has an army of faceless crew members. Literally faceless, these Shadow Raiders hang around Lockdown, his Steeljaws, and the Stupid Drones, and generally get shot at.

Don't even think about it

Multiple Shadow Raiders were present when Harold Attinger requested an audience with Lockdown in the Arctic and several were later killed by Cade Yeager when he and his allies discovered a gun upon sneaking aboard their ship in Chicago. In addition to chasing after these intruders aboard their fighters (and having a lot of them die in the process), the crew also listened to Lockdown plan his return to Earth. Age of Extinction

Notes

  • Though the packaging bio for Studio Series Shadow Raider makes it clear that the toy represents Lockdown's mercenaries, the sculpted detail and included weapon accessory are all based on Lockdown himself. Some might say that the toy's colors are based on the orange Lamborghini Aventador used in the majority of the car's advertising, others may call it a reference to the Animated Blazing Lockdown figure, even down to the fact that they both have new weapons compared to their original mold!
