| The name or term "Dead End" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Dead End (disambiguation). |
- Dead End is a Decepticon from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Pessimistic by nature, Dead End rarely participates in the merrymaking of his fellow Decepticons. This self-serving soldier will avoid any altercation if he can get away with it, kept in line only by his loyalty to Megatron.
An effective enforcer when given orders, Dead End has recently caught the eye of his tyrannical leader. Not that he's any better off for it; his new position serving alongside big bully Astrotrain might just be his worst gig yet.

During the Nemesis crew's search for the AllSpark, Dead End was among the Decepticons who stayed on Cybertron to fight off Autobot forces. During the climatic battle against the Autobots after surviving the destruction of the Ark, Dead End knocked some Autobot soldiers about. Battle For Cybertron II
After the Great War ended in the Autobots' favor, Dead End was among the Transformers captured by the Quintessons, who outfitted them with control helmets that placed them in a simulation loop where they took part in a parade with varying differences each time. Dead End grew suspicious of his circumstances after Clobber mysteriously vanished and, after failing to convince Lockdown, transformed to break out of the simulation. After following Clobber and Hot Rod, he attacked the latter, suspecting that the Autobots were behind the hostile takeover. Their brief scuffle brought the attention of some nearby drones and the group were forced to relocate to Maccadam's. The Dead End
Finding that they were somehow safe inside, Dead End begrudgingly accompanied Perceptor in his investigation of the establishment, discovering that it is part of the War Titan Iaconus. The Sleeper Joined by a recently-escaped Whirl, Dead End and the other freed Cybertronians journeyed deeper into the establishment. After going through a rigorous training program and encountering the vicious Skullcruncher, the group was dissuaded by Maccadam from activating Iaconus, as an effort to stop the Titan's past violent rampage had taken the lives of its citizens minus the bartender. The Citizen

After several failed attempts to awaken Iaconus, it was determined that a cityspeaker was required, the group mounting a rescue mission to retrieve Windblade. Dead End and Clobber got separated from the others and stumbled across a barely-functional Soundwave, who had been improperly freed by Whirl. Taking Soundwave back to Maccadam's, Dead End wanted Soundwave to be abandoned but was objected by Soundwave himself. The Trial Dead End accompanied Soundwave in his attack on a Bailiff, noticing that Clobber attempting to assassinate Hot Rod would attract unwanted attention. After the prisoner was captured, Dead End accompanied the group down to the holding cell in time for Bailiff to reveal that the Scientist was the primary target. The Prisoner
Infiltrating the Scientist's compound, the group came upon an impregnable door which Soundwave opened long enough only for him and Hot Rod to pass through. Left on the other side, Dead End commented that Hot Rod and Soundwave can take care of themselves. The group tried futilely to blast the door down before Laserbeak arrived with the Loop's source code. Running back to control node, the group shut down the parade. The Scientist Dead End was part of a failed attack on the Quintesson ship, being saved only when Windblade managed to partly unearth Iaconus' massive arm. The Alliance
Dead End grew annoyed with how the Cybertronians' attempts at combatting the Quintesson threat were going and convinced Megatron to seek power in other universes. Dead End was among the Transformers who infiltrated the Quintessons' command tower and battled copies of the Scientist. Dead End betrayed the mission by shooting Wheeljack before he followed Megatron into a ship containing the Quintessons' multiverse drive and left the universe for places unknown. The Judge
Arriving in an alternate timeline inhabited by a more ruthless version of Megatron and a master race of Decepticons, Dead End helped Megatron free several Decepticons from the Other One's control. Enemy Line Dead End waited with Astrotrain, to whom Dead End took an immediate dislike, while Megatron stole the Other One's Matrix of Leadership. When his master and the Insecticons returned under heavy fire, Astrotrain opened a portal to another universe and flew them through. Silent Strike
Dead End returned to his home dimension aboard Astrotrain in time to battle Judge Starscream. When they attempted to seal off the portal to unspace, Astrotrain and everyone inside him–Dead End included–were seized by Croaton until Windblade removed the Quintesson influence from the Titan's mind. The day was saved when Megatron and Optimus Prime vanquished Judge Starscream using their Matrices and Astrotrain closed the portal. Dead End was later seen disembarking Astrotrain as Megatron met up with Optimus Prime. The End Of The Universe IV

- Dead End (Scout Class, 2019)
- Action Attack: "Sonic Upper Cut"
- Cyberverse Scout Class Dead End is a post-Generations Legends Class-sized mold that converts from a robot to a half-car-half-bot, called the "transformational mode". Like the rest of his Scout Class brethren, he features an Action Attack, the "Sonic Upper Cut", which raises his left arm.
- Dead End (Tiny Turbo Changer, 2019)
- Series: 3
- Bag code: D2
Notes
- Dead End's design is influenced by his Generation 1 counterpart's Combiner Wars toy, notably visible in the shape of his chest, forearms, and helmet (not to mention his backpack).
- Dead End's color scheme, meanwhile, is taken from Revenge of the Fallen Dead End, which is especially noticeable with his packaging art and the battle mask he wears in the Season 3 opening intro, "Enemy Line", and "The Other One".
- According to Mae Catt, Dead End's optics are white.[1] The packaging art, however, has his optics colored purple.
- Considering the basis for his design and the fact that combiners were among the unused concepts for Cyberverse, it is possible that Dead End was meant to be a part of a hypothetical Cyberverse Menasor.
