Overview

Who are all these people? Don't worry, Optimus doesn't know either!

Equal parts Dragon Ball Z and Lost, the Generation Selects comic sees Optimus Prime and Galvatron battle each other and an ever increasing number of new toys challengers as they try to discover where they are, when they are, who sent them, who's trying to kill them, and just maybe, what they mean to each other.

Continuity & Timeline

The world of the Primus Vanguard exists in a mysteeerious place in the Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity. Outside of traditional space and time (OR IS IT?), the world of the Primus Vanguard is an ongoing narrative that is visited by Cybertronians from various eras, often decades apart. For simplicity's sake, the major eras involved are listed below.

Notes

  • While the nature of Selects as a mystery story makes discerning an exact relationship impossible as of this writing, the majority of its worldbuilding is pulled from Shin Sasaki's short lived —Spin Off—, uh, spinoff, of the Transformers Legends comic.
