The MorBot is a robot from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Go, mighty MorBot!

The MorBot is an invention of Doctor Morocco. Constructed of the most advanced technology, it is positively bristling with deadly weapons hi-tech rescuing gear, including a giant cannon industrial-strength fire extinguisher and rocket boots. It even has the ability to convert into an armored assault tank a rescue vehicle. It's sure to be a great asset to any terrorist rescue organization.

Voice actor: Maurice LaMarche (English), Steve Blum (Heatwave clone, English), D.C. Douglas (Chase clone, English), Imari Williams (Boulder clone, English), Parvesh Cheena (Blades clone, English), Jonny Rees (Morocco virus/MorBot 2.0, English){{#if: |, {{{2}}}}}

In 1939, following the arrival of the time-travelling Autobots from the future, Morocco had the robots' abilities studied, but when the tests yielded little information, he strung the robots up with electromagnets and prepared to vivisect them. The arrival of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from the future stymied his plans, but even as the robots and children escaped back to their future, Morocco discovered that they had accidentally left a small robot behind. It's a Bot Time Before he could examine it, however, the Rescue Bots returned to 1939, retrieving Dither. It is still possible, however, from the little information he may have been able to gather, he was still able to enginner a Morbot by 2012. Bot to the Future

MECH should have just asked Doctor Morocco how to build a Transformer.

After causing Doc Greene to be fired as Griffin Rock's lead scientist, Morocco sabotaged a road roller, allowing his MorBot to swoop in and save the day ahead of the Rescue Bots. The MorBot made short work of the roller, impressing Mayor Luskey, who agreed to let the MorBot enter into a competition with Chief Burn's team. Morocco engineered a fire at the dock, which the MorBot extinguished by diving into the sea and causing a giant wave. After the MorBot stopped both a runaway toy rocket and Doc Greene's solar car, the latter just before it would have squashed the mayor, Luskey was only too happy to promote Morocco to lead scientist. The Other Doctor

The MorBot continued to rescue people, halting Mr. Harrison's runaway flight and retrieving Mister Pettypaws from a tree, though its rescue methods left something to be desired. It also guarded the laboratory, and pursued Blades, Dani and Cody when they tried to spy on Morocco. After Cody and Frankie sneaked into the lab, they were spotted by Morocco, who sent the MorBot after them. Though carelessly knocking a grenade and causing an explosion, the MorBot pursued its quarry into Morocco's blimp. It was prevented from reaching the two children by a large door, and by the time it broke through, Cody had landed the blimp. The MorBot jumped out to attack them, only to be surrounded by the Rescue Bots, who forcibly disassembled it. The Reign of Morocco

Appearently Morocco had built another MorBot, which stood aboard the bridge of Morocco's main sub, the Nemo, but rather than reactive it, Morocco had other plans. Double Villainy Doctor Morocco learned about the true nature of Griffin Rock's "rescue robots" when he sneaked into the firehouse, Changes and used the details he downloaded about the team and Optimus Prime to construct his next batch of MoroccoBots, fully functional duplicates of the Rescue Bots!

After returning to an empty firehouse from a rescue before everyone else, Blades was lured down into the bunker's caverns, captured by Morocco and replaced with a clone. After wiping Blades' memory, Morocco used the other duplicates to convince Blades of their mission, purportedly given to him by Optimus Prime, and of the "evil" Burns family. Subsequently, the Blades clone drew the other bots to a supposed cave-in and they were switched as well. Although the duplicates were able to fulfill the duties of the Bots they'd replaced, their human partners grew suspicious due to their brusk, literal and unfriendly demeanor. To test their suspicions, the Burnses brought their "partners" to the EMP area at Griffin Crest, and without any objection, the robots entered, were zapped and shut down. Upon further inspection, Graham was able to identify their true nature. Double Villainy

Doc Greene was studying the MorBot which the Rescue Bots had disassembled, keeping its head on a table in his lab, much to Frankie's discomfort. Some mutant army ants were later able to reconnect the head's power supply, enabling the MorBot to reactivate and break Morocco out of jail. During his escape, the MorBot was devoured by the army ants. Bugs in the System

The 3D printed Morocco virus was able to build a new, more advanced MorBot using items stolen from the Griffin Rock laboratory. He used the MorBot 2.0 to steal tech associated with the Scrubber Initiative, only for it to be blown up by a boobytrapped GroundBridge. Upgrades It was soon repaired by the Scrubbers Morocco now controlled, and he uploaded himself into it, effectively becoming the MorBot himself. This fusion of Morocco and MorBot ended up plunging into an undersea abyss after Morocco attempted to abduct Cody as his human partner. Transformations

Alternate timeline

Decepti... errr, nevermind.

Using technology from the robot, Dither, which had been left behind in 1939 by the time-traveling Rescue Bots, Morocco eventually created an army of "MorBot" automatons and took over Griffin Rock, redubbing it "Moropolis". When a team of Autobots returned from 1939, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee began trashing the Morbots, eventually wiping out all of them except the larger red MorBot that Morocco was driving. The evil scientist drove the last MorBot after the rogue group as they headed for the Temporal Station they were using. He was too late to stop them however, and crashed the MorBot into the time machine. The Autobots returned to 1939 to retrieve Dither and erased the timeline. Bot to the Future

Rescue Bots

  • Bumblebee and MorBot (2-pack, 2014)
Only available in a two-pack with Bumblebee based on his motorcycle Rescan figure, MorBot is a non-transforming minifigure with no articulation. He is also a little chubby.

  • Tunnel Rescue Drill (multi-pack, 2015)
A MorBot came packaged with Graham Burns and the Tunnel Rescue Drill. It is identical to the previous 2-pack release.

MorBot than you can handle.

Rescan Series

  • MorBot (Rescan figure, 2016)
Part of the eleventh wave of Rescue Bots Rescan figures, the MorBot transforms into a futuristic formula 1 race car when his spoiler is flipped up. He is an extensive retool of fellow race-car-bot Blurr, with most of the visible parts changed.
This figure has the distinction of being the first transformable bad guy toy in the Rescue Bots line, and is the only MorBot sold independent from a playset or multi-pack.
Due to the show's storyline, this figure also doubles as the Morocco virus.

Flip Racers

  • Chomp & Chase Raceway (Playset, 2017)
Released as part of the "Chomp & Chase Raceway" playset, Flip Racer MorBot transforms automatically from car to robot when the vehicle mode is lifted up and placed on its end. The right fist is sculpted to be a cannon.

  • Optimus Prime Race Track Trailer (Playset, 2017)
A Walmart exclusive, Optimus Prime Race Track Trailer includes bonus Flip Racers Heatwave the Fire-Bot and MorBot figures.

Notes

  • It is unclear how exactly Morocco was able to engineer a man-made Transformer, as it was established in Prime (which is set in the same continuity) when MECH tried to build a Transformer, they required Energon and a Transformation cog. The MorBots seem to make do without either, unless he managed to gain access to Cybertronian "technology" through other means (Morocco has been alive for more than a century), as do the fake Rescue Bots Morocco builds in "Double Villainy".
  • Furthermore, unlike Nemesis Prime, the MorBots seem to be (partially) autonomous, with their leader in the alternate timeline even able to speak, but none of the "main" timeline MorBots were fully sentient until the Morocco virus uploaded his mind into the "MorBot 2.0" in the final episode.
