The Parade of Metals is a Cybertronian event where large hunks of metal are put on display for bots to observe and admire.

It doesn't matter what universe you're from. Everyone loves a parade.

Rescue Bots cartoon

The parade as celebrated in Griffin Rock used small chunks of Earth metals grown to appropriate size using Doc Greene's Minimizer which were placed atop airborne floats and put on display accompanied by music and the bots themselves. The parade was done on All Spark Day alongside the Festival of Primes. All Spark Day

Cyberverse cartoon

The parade was celebrated on Cybertron using large cubes of metal which were displayed on Cybertronian floats along with music, an air show, and a grand marshal present. Among the metals mentioned in the parade were platinum, beryllium, and chromium, and a finger of pride could be worn to celebrate the presence of the metals.

As it turns out, the parade was actually a simulated "virtual reality" loop, created by the Quintesson Scientist to keep the captured Cybertronians placid while their spark energy was being drained to create a new Judge. However, a tiny number of Cybertronians had escaped capture, and eventually worked out that getting those trapped in the loop to try and transform inside the simulation would force their bodies to follow suit, yanking the mind-control helmets off and freeing them.
