- Skeletor is an Evil Warrior from Masters of the Universe.
From atop his throne on Snake Mountain, the evil Skeletor plots to claim the Power of Grayskull and rule the world of Eternia. Though regularly thwarted by the heroic He-Man and his allies, this skeletal sorcerer will stop at nothing to achieve his wicked goals.
Fiction
Masters of the Universe x Transformers
Skeletor's new armor, infused with the power of Decepticon leader Megatron, can harness both the Power of Grayskull and all the universe's energon.[1]
Toys
Masters of the Universe x Transformers
Remember: "Skeletron" was already taken. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!!!!!
- Megatron Armor Skeletor (2025)
- Accessories: Sword, mace, fusion cannon/Havoc Staff
- Known designers: Sam Pak (toy design), Francisco Etchart (artwork), Roy Juarez (graphic design and art direction), Lawrence Pukhrambam (packaging engineer), Robert Rudman (copy writer)[2]
- Part of Mattel's Masters of the Universe x Transformers crossover line of 5-and-a-half-inch scale action figures, "Megatron Armor Skeletor" is a figure of the Masters of the Universe franchise's main villain decked out in, as the name suggests, a suit of armor that blends Skeletor's usual look with that of Generation 1 Megatron. Like with figures from the main Masters of the Universe: Origins line, Skeletor shares the scale and proportions of figures from the classic 80's Masters of the Universe line, but features considerably more articulation. On top of this, many of his parts are removable: his head, shoulders, wrists, waist, and boots (well, mid-boot in this case) can pop off and be swapped with other figures.
- In terms of weaponry, Skeletor comes equipped with a small purple sword (which can peg into a port on his back for storage), a ram skull-headed energon mace, and a Skeletor-ized version of Megatron's fusion cannon. The mace comes attached to a handle, but can also be unplugged and used in place of one of Skeletor's hands, while the fusion cannon can be reconfigured to become a version of Skeletor's signature Havoc Staff.
- He also comes packed-in with another Origins staple, a mini-comic titled "By the Energon of Grayskull" that provides the backstory for the figure, which also comes packed-in with Skeletor's wavemate, Bumblebee Armor Man-At-Arms.
- Megatron Armor Skeletor was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, 2025 as a Target exclusive, which made it to shelves in mid-October. He went up for pre-order the same day, with limited quantities also being made available through the Mattel Creations website; members of Mattel's "Club Grayskull" membership program had an exclusivity period that lasted from July 25-July 26, 2025.
Notes
- Actors that have voiced Skeletor have included Alan Oppenheimer, Campbell Lane, Brian Dobson, Mark Hamill and Scott Whyte.
