Plo Koon

Plo Koon is an alien of the Kel Dor species in Star Wars.

Plo Koon is a noble Jedi Master who, like most of his fellow Jedi, pilots a starfighter capable of transforming into a giant mech. At some point in his life, Koon attacked the planet Cato Neimoidia, where he used this mech to defeat hostile droid starfighters.

Plo Koon is a retool of the Saesee Tiin Jedi Starfighter mold (or to be precise, the Anakin Skywalker version of the mold with its centralized astromech droid) with a new head. The fighter is equipped with a "hyperdrive ring" with spring-loaded missile launchers in its engines, and the missiles themselves can be used as twin lightsabers in robot mode.

The original version of this mold was also used to make Obi-Wan Kenobi, while the Anakin/Plo Koon version was later retooled into Ahsoka Tano and Kit Fisto.
