- A cigar is a nicotine delivery device from the Generation 1 continuity family.
A cigar is a tube of dried tobacco leaves. They are designed so that a human can place one end in his mouth and light the other end on fire and puff the resulting smoke.
They are apparently also referred to as stogies.

Abner of the United States military liked cigars so much that he lit one up, only to be chastised by a superior, who reminded him that they were running "dark" and the light from a cigar would give away their presence. Notes
- Kup was introduced in All Hail Megatron chomping on a cigar-like object as a form of humanizing. This caused significant enough fan commentary that Shane McCarthy belatedly hung a lampshade on it. Nevertheless, an in-fiction explanation was later retconed for it by Nick Roche in the All Hail Megatron Coda.
