This article is about the evil Autobot Targetmaster. For his heroic counterpart, see Pinpointer (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Pinpointer (disambiguation).
Pinpointer is an evil Autobot Targetmaster from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.

When Ricochet chose Scoop and Crosshairs to stand by his side, he bestowed upon each of them a small partner to complement their personality. This is how the enthusiastic Pinpointer was teamed up with the lazy Crosshairs.

Fiction

Shattered Glass

Pinpointer was a Micromaster and Targetmaster upgraded by Ricochet to act as an enthusiastic partner for the lazy Crosshairs. After successfully capturing Megatron in the remains of Boltax's temples, the Targetmasters were forced to deal with a Decepticon rescue mission. Despite his best efforts to do nothing, Crosshairs ran across the Predacons Rampage and Divebomb. Although his partner was too lethargic to respond, the eager Pinpointer lept free from Crosshairs and aimed his own gun mode as the invading Decepticons. After launching some "fire-and-forget" missiles to seek out Divebomb, Pinpointer and the reluctant Crosshairs began double-teaming Rampage in physical combat. The fighting only ended when Divebomb lured the missiles into striking the floor underneath the Targetmaster duo, sending them falling to the level below. Do Over
