- Beast Wars Megatron was David's first time voicing a bad guy.
- He has appeared in six separate Transformers series, the most for any single TF voice actor.
- When originally auditioning for Beast Wars, Kaye originally read for the role of Optimus Primal while Garry Chalk read for the sinister Megatron. Ironic, isn't it?
- Bill Fagerbakke says his mom is hot. This disturbs him. And us.
- He brought his father to TFcon 2004 with him.
- He is one of the few original Beast Wars cast members that expresses fondness for Beast Machines.
- He went uncredited as Animated Cliffjumper in "Five Servos of Doom".
- Kaye was interviewed as a special feature for Kid Rhino's Beast Machines The Complete Series DVD set.
