I saw that you posted something about Primal falling in love in an unproduced Beast Wars episode called "The Greater Ape." This has made me curious. What do you know about this episode? Do you know whether it made it to an outline, a script or storyboards or anything? Do you know anyone who still has a copy of any of the material having to do with this episode? I think it would be really cool to read this lost story. Thanks. Category sorting
Hey, Monzo. There's already something that does that automatically for all categories on the article: {{DEFAULTSORT:}}. Just put what you want the page to categorize as after the colon (i.e. {{DEFAULTSORT:McFeely, Chris}}). —Interrobang 05:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Caption explanation
"If you want to keep your beer cool, stick it between her legs..." is an allusion to the "frigid bitch" whose vagina is cold, for reasons you can discern.
...Not that I care about it being in the article, mind. —Interrobang 06:21, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, the caption is meant to be a Red Dwarf reference, as all the other Starscream clones' main images are (though the Liar Starscream caption has since been changed). All of the captions referred to the character Rimmer, who was a snivelling, self-obsessed, decietful (did I spell that right?), two-faced coward. The Female Starscream caption specifically referred to an ep which featured a female Rimmer (though the actual line was "If you want to keep your beer cool, stick it between his legs...", but meh. So, you're saying I should put the Universe pics in their area? Like, Prowl in the Deluxe area, Bumblebee in Legends, ect.? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.253.51.107

Thank you for posting an answer to my question, I appreciate it. I'll try for another one for Hasbro. Cheers, and grats for your Hasbro nod. SteamFan42 00:56, 23 November 2008 (EST)
Movie screencaps

Onslaught Six
I know he's been here two years. But check his contributions, in two years it's just been talk pages and messing with captions. --Detour 03:07, 3 January 2009 (EST)
- If he's a registered user and isn't actively adding stupidity, I don't see where it's our place to say he can't fiddle with the captions. We don't really have any official policies regarding this matter that I'm aware of, and we really shouldn't, because the idea of creating policies about who can make jokes is asinine.
- In any event, there wasn't a caption on that image to begin with, so I don't see the harm in him adding one. (Whether or not I think it's actually funny is another matter.) --Monzo 03:18, 3 January 2009 (EST)
- Oh, I see. Thanks for straightening that out for me. --Detour 03:34, 3 January 2009 (EST)
Takara Omnibot bios
I saw in Talk:Downshift (G1) that you quoted from Downshift's Takara bio. Are these online somewhere? Or could you post their full content? Thanks! - Jackpot 16:26, 10 January 2009 (EST)
- The Japanese bios are available (in Japanese) on these pages:

Did you just UPLOAD this with a SPEEDY DELETE tag? - SanityOrMadness 21:50, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
- I'm going through a section of the wiki image server image by image, because there's a bunch of images that exist on the server which the wiki does not recognize. If I don't re-upload them, they'll just stay hidden on the wiki server forever and ever; at least this way, even the images we don't want can be properly dealt with. --Monzo 23:30, 31 March 2009 (EDT)

Chevy Autobots
Hey Monzo... I'm pretty sure you were the one with the Chevy Autobots archive. I've got a few additions.
- A [May-10th e-mail http://rapidshare.com/files/268483256/chevyautobots_battlebeginsnow-email.pdf] sent out to users announcing the official opening of the contest. (This originally had pictures in the background... but I'm not sure what of, since they're of course loading off the now-defunct domain. Presumably of whoever your 'contact' was at that point in the campaign. Sphinx?)
- Some miscellaneous .swf files from the game. These aren't playable themselves... but combined with a .swf decompiler, they'll allow you to view the whole finale sequence. :-) (I wish I'd saved them all, but I never expected the site to just vanish like that. At least I've got the most important ones.) -Derik 16:12, 17 August 2009 (EDT)
Vinnie D'Alleva Article
Hey there, were you planning to add the info from this article any time soon? If not, may I do the honors? There's some mindblowing info in there in regards to Beast Wars and early Transformers designers that I'm itching to add.--MCRG Again 19:00, 16 November 2009 (EST)
Mega's armor pic
Were you planning on reuploading the screencap elsewhere? Because screencaps are generally preferable to character models when the image is in the Fiction section, aren't they? --Detour 04:17, 20 November 2009 (EST)
- I wasn't planning on re-uploading the screenshot anywhere, no. I assumed that because Chris McFeely both wrote up and screen-shotted the article himself that there simply aren't any better images of her in her armor within the series proper. Thus, I figured that the model shot worked better than the screenshot because it showed the entire design. (The screenshot isn't terribly context-specific, for that matter, so I didn't feel any qualms about replacing it. I plan to change Giga's, too.) --Monzo 04:25, 20 November 2009 (EST)
- Well I'm no Masterforce expert but I'm pretty sure the general rule for images in the fiction section is to use images from said fiction.... --Detour 04:27, 20 November 2009 (EST)
- I actually remember there being a conversation about this a while ago... ah, here it is.
- Well I'm no Masterforce expert but I'm pretty sure the general rule for images in the fiction section is to use images from said fiction.... --Detour 04:27, 20 November 2009 (EST)
- It doesn't look like the issue was really resolved. In Mega and Giga's cases, though, the art isn't even in a different style from the show, since it's their colored character models - Walky's issue of stylistic difference doesn't apply. The purpose of the original two images was, simply, to show them in their armor, which these do, but now you can see their leg details. I don't really see a good reason to NOT use these pictures. --Monzo 04:41, 20 November 2009 (EST)

Hey, while you're looking at scripts, can you please check "Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 1" and see how Ultraplane is parsed? We've got it spelled four or five different ways in various articles. :) --abates 00:08, 4 December 2009 (EST)
Battle for the Convoy Cup
Man, when I heard Protoman was asking this week's stumpin' question, I knew he was going to ask about this manga! He mentioned it in passing in a YouTube review a couple of months ago and I told him to wiki it but he hasn't yet (HEY PROTO DO IT) and nobody seems to have ever heard of it otherwise! - Chris McFeely 08:25, 31 December 2009 (EST)
Since I'm not entirely familiar with how the messaging/response system works here I shall re-post mine.
"I do understand the contributions bit, I agree with that, it makes sense. So I shall make more contributions to the site, most likely in the forms of the comics. As for the signatures. When I initially signed up, I must've saw something about a signature and assumed it automatically posted with the timestamp, it wasn't until a little more posting that I discovered the button above. So when I put (- Karhukjnsi) I was putting down the "official" name you see on my page, while the "Beerclaw" name is the pseudonym I go by in real life. I accept your apology, I also accept the contributions part, so I shall place some in the (near) future. As for signatures, what would you personally prefer and I shall change it as to allow an easier experience on the site? --The Beerclaw 03:13, 6 January 2010 (EST)"
And as an additional subject of discussion (excuse the pun...of sorts), will the Lockdown_(ROTF) page remain "protected"? For my arguments as to what changes I feel should be made to it, please see the page's discussion. --The Beerclaw 03:17, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- I semi-protected that page because you were in an edit war. Regardless of who's right, edit wars are bad juju.--RosicrucianTalk 03:18, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- I understand and respect that decision, though if you look over the discussion, form your own opinion, would you be willing to make the edit(s) that I initially attempted to make? (Assuming you agree with them, of course). --Karhukjnsi 03:23, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- Personally, I'm not going to take a side in that one. People can discuss it a little more. I just reverted to the version before all the nonsense, and locked it for new users. As a result, an admin isn't even needed to make the changes, as long as consensus is achieved. As an upcoming release, I'll probably leave it locked for new users, as it cuts down on leaked info.--RosicrucianTalk 03:24, 6 January 2010 (EST)
- Fair enough, thank you for your cooperation. --Karhukjnsi 03:27, 6 January 2010 (EST)

Roadbuster?
Do you have a source on Faggerbakke's role having been intended to be Roadbuster over the other two Wreckers? --Detour 10:53, 4 August 2011 (EDT)

Wreckers I images
I noticed you uploaded the image of Reptron from the fourth Wreckers Universe comic issue. Could I ask you for some mroe images from that issue? I am looking for one of Bender for the Futurama page, one of the Rusty Mace and one/a compilation of images for the plasma cannon grannybot. Geewunling 16:05, 10 August 2011 (EDT)
- You never responded/uploaded the images I requested, so I have to assume you missed my reply on my talk page. Here it is again: "Yes, thank you very much for the Rusty Mace image. The grannybot pic I need for plasma cannon grannybot. She was kinda bigly mentioned in the script, so I figured she'd be worth doing an article on. Could I ask you for an image of Bender & the R&S robots for the notes section of the Wreckers Finale I page too?"
- On a sidenote, I put up the following request on the TFVault talk page: "'Unreleased toy' mentions a Decepticon Headmaster Manta Ray being revealed in this book. Would anyone please write it a page or note on the Headmasters page? Pretty please?" If you have time, could you help with these? Geewunling 12:53, 20 August 2011 (EDT)

I've been in e-mail contact with Tim Speigel, who was the producer for the live action sections of the fifth season of Transformers. He has agreed to a conversation once our schedules align. Can you think of any questions or line of questioning that I should pursue. I asked the channel earlier and got a few starting points, but I want an exhaustive list of questions if he has the memory for them. Since you're big into the minutia, can you think of any? --Bluestreak7 16:31, 12 September 2011 (EDT)

The problem is 'eyeliner'. Raccoons, to my knowledge, don't wear eyeliner. Geewunling 17:12, 30 September 2012 (EDT)
- No, 'guyliner' does not make it better. I mean, thanks for the effort, but it actually makes it worse. If you want to remark he looks like a raccoon, say he looks like a raccoon. Or that he doesn't get enough sleep. Or if you have too make make-up references, point out it is overdone. Don't just make it as a joke that a guy wears eyeliner, even if it is not meant as femmephobia. Geewunling 17:19, 30 September 2012 (EDT)
- As the person who scanned the image, spent X amount of hours removing the background from it, and who uploaded and captioned it in the first place, I take umbrage at the insinuation that the caption I wrote could be perceived as offensive to anyone. You may not know my general outlook on issues like you do Walky's from his work, but I have gone through periods in my life where I have been deathly afraid of offending people even with mincing words; even at this stage in my life, I still don't swear in public.
- Both men and women wear eyeliner. I am not singling out makeup as being something bad; the point of the line was to make light of the stupidity inherent in a character model that doesn't let you see one of the most distinguishing aspects of the character. The model does not, in fact, let you see his eyeliner very well. There is no judgmental call being made on the subject of eyeliner. --Monzo 17:42, 30 September 2012 (EDT)

Thanks! For the Targetmasters AND Diaclone Ironhide info. But even now that you've told me about black pre-Ironhide's stripes, i still feel like Trailbreaker (G1) and Ironhide (RID) are worth mentioning--especially since Ironhide insists he got the idea from black pickup truckS (plural) he saw around town. In fact, might need to mention Diaclone pre-Ironhide in the Ironhide (RID) article, too...

2015 Hall of Fame question
I'm just curious about something... can one vote for Galvatron? He isn't Megatron at all in the IDW ongoing G1 world, so shouldn't it stand to reason that he can be his own character, like Optimus Primal or Megatron from Beast Wars? They are themselves and also their G1 selves in a micro-continuity.--ComeonandSLAM 21:12, 13 April 2015 (EDT)
- We have accepted votes for Galvatron in the past, and as we don't have a Hall of Fame marker on Galvatron's page, he was presumably excluded from the HoF video that showcased the Megatrons that were inducted.--Monzo (talk) 01:52, 14 April 2015 (EDT)

Would i have completely avoided even the possibility of deletion if i had taken the time to learn how to add the stub label to the article as initially posted? Titan Magazines
Hey dude I just want to ask a question: Is Titan Magazines' ROTF and DOTM comics canon to the films? Reason I ask this to you is because you're seemed like you know a lot of about TF in here.--Primestar3 (talk) 13:35, 7 June 2015 (EDT)
- Unfortunately, as an American, the Titan comics are not easily available to me. However, I typically assume that while any movie tie-in media takes a film as its base story, a film itself is not beholden to tie-in media from any company. That's just the way it tends to go with fiction based around a "tent-pole" production like a movie; for instance, there was a tie-in web game for Transformers 2007 that established Agent Simmons' first name, which Revenge of the Fallen subsequently ignored in favor of a different one. It's just the nature of these things. --Monzo (talk) 14:16, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
