- A Zod is a type of drone from the Generation 1 continuity family.
A Zod is type of monstrous drone, built by human slaves at the direction of evil alien leaders.

Ask Vector Prime
In Primax 185.0 Beta, after Galvatron used Decepto-Packs to conquer and enslave humanity, he directed their efforts towards building armies of Zod drones. These were used to conquer a sizable portion of the galaxy, until the Quintesson Pan Galactic Co-Prosperity Sphere was forced to intercede. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/06/04
Notes
- Zods were first introduced in the Challenge of the GoBots cartoon. Cy-Kill's plan in the five part pilot was essentially identical to Galvatron's plan in Ask Vector Prime; humanity was enslaved and used to build an army of Zods, which were then to be used to conquer GoBotron.
