Graphy is an Autobot Mini-Cassette from The Headmasters portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
CAW! We are the people. We will poop on you.

Graphy (グラフィ Gurafi) is one of the Autobot Mini-Cassettes. The aerial intelligence soldier of the group, he is the calmest among them, a stark contrast to his hyper-violent partner Noise. Graphy is an impressive flyer with amazing eyesight.

As a member of the W Cassettebot sub-sub-group, he can combine with Noise to form the robot Decibel.

Toys

The Headmasters

  • Gurafi [sic] (W Cassettebot, 1987)

Graphy is a mini-cassette that transforms into a red Pteranodon. A pair of silver-chrome laser guns attach to the ends of his wings. In tape mode, he fits into the chest compartment of Blaster or Soundwave (and their retooled reincarnations).
Graphy combines with Noise to form the legs and chestplate of the humanoid robot Decibel. In this form, his guns attach to his legs for added stability.


Vintage G1

In a surprise move, "Gurafi" (what the hell?) was reissued as part of the Vintage G1 series, in a 3-pack alongside "Noizu" and—inexplicably—"Decepticon Frenzy". This version came on a retro-styled two-pack card with Noise, each of them getting new G1-styled bio writeups and tech specs, with Frenzy alone on his own same-size card.
This set was revealed when it went up for preorder on Hasbro Pulse on the first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2019... despite not being announced at the show at all.
Amusingly, despite the hyperliteral Romanizations of "Noizu" and "Gurafi", Decibel received a normal English spelling for this release.
