- The Color Changers are a subgroup from the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Color Changers are four Transformers with the ability to change colors. Exactly what purpose this serves in combat is unclear—perhaps it is used for camouflage akin to a chameleon. This ability is somewhat limited, as the Color Changers have to be in contact with water in order to make use of it, but luckily, they're all equipped with water cannons so that they can camouflage each other on either side...wait...

Gobots and Jetstorm were on opposite sides of a battle on an unnamed planet, the former under Sunstreaker's command and the latter under Turmoil's. Gobots was killed in action while Jetstorm survived to help the other Decepticons turn Deadlock in for an attempted mutiny. Drift #1

- The Color Changers are redecos of the Europe-exclusive Aquaspeeder toys and share their main gimmick: Parts of the toys are painted with color changing paint that reacts to water of different temperatures. To make use of this feature, the Color Changers all came with water guns to shoot at one another (or themselves).
