| The name or term "Devastator" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Devastator (disambiguation). |
- Devastator is a something from the Animated continuity family.

Devastator is some sort of project that Dirt Boss came up with. He has roped Scrapper and Mixmaster into doing the work with the aid of a couple of cerebro-shells, though the pair aren't quite sure exactly what it is they are creating... The AllSpark Almanac II
Notes
- We couldn't possibly speculate on what it is they're doing.
- Erector's Transformers Hall of Fame nomination video showed off a full-body design for Animated Erector, claiming he would have formed essentially the entire lower half of Devastator... in other words, the pants. Like everything else in that video, this is entirely false.
- Devastator was going to appear in the cancelled fourth season of Animated. In early concepts, he was going to be comprised of at least six components[1] (Skipjack wouldn't be one of them[2]). Dirt Boss would have become the head,[3] Mixmaster would have become a leg,[4] and Bulkhead would have been forced to become the torso.[5][6] Keep in mind that these ideas never progressed past the planning stage; nothing was finalized and no new Constructicons were decided on.[7]
