The Matrix Gauntlet (マトリクスガントレット Matorikusu Gantoretto), also known as the Yellow Matrix (イエローマトリクス Ierō Matorikusu), is the vessel of the Yellow Star Power, one of the Seven Lights of creation of the Precursor World. It is entrusted to the leader of the Yellow Order of the Primus Vanguard. The central component can be carried in a normal Matrix-like container or inserted into the gauntlet, forming a hand that can block all attacks.

Containing the Yellow Star Power emenated by The One, the Yellow Matrix was the most important artifact in its native universe. Primus founded the Yellow Order to safeguard it and defend its universe. In the final battle between the Primus Vanguard and their ancient enemy the Specters, the Yellow Order leader Yellow Splendid Convoy unleashed its Star Power along with the other six Lights to annihilate the Specters, which had the secondary effect of combining their multiverse into a single multicolored world.

Later, Primus, driven to omnicide by grim visions of an apocalyptic future, demanded the Yellow Matrix so that he might destroy the universe, Yellow declined and returned to the Yellow Planet with her Matrix. Finale 1

Yellow retained the Yellow Matrix till Scylla came to the Yellow Planet and took the Matrix after disabling the Yellow Order with her Angolmois Kisses of death. When God Neptune was formed, he wore the Matrix Gauntlet. God Neptune comic 1

God Neptune used the Gauntlet to effortlessly block an opening volley from Megatron Omega in the ensuing battle for the seven remaining Matrices of Star Power. The ghost of Blue Big Convoy then dis-armed God Neptune with a mighty blast of the liberated Matrix Buster. The victorious Megatron Omega subsequently retrieved the Gauntlet in its traditional Matrix configuration as well as the other four matrices stolen by the Seacons and began to absorb their Star Power into his own Silver Matrix, only for a vengeful Halfshell to split his head open with the Neptune Sword, interrupting the process and sending the Yellow Matrix flying once more.
