- Treadshot is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2008 Universe line).

- Treadshot is a redeco of Classics Broadside, transforming from an M1 Abrams main battle tank into a robot with a mini-gun for a right hand. This mold has gained notoriety for its refusal to stand up in robot mode due to its small feet.
- He was only available as part of a Mini-Con 10-pack with Windrazor, Ransack, Stockade, Overcharge, Sky Shadow, Scavenger, Longview, Snow Cat, and Crosshairs. This set was only available at certain retailers, notably Kmart and Meijer in the US and Tesco in the UK.
- This mold was also used to make Universe Heavytread and Ironside.
