Beast Wars: Uprising
Using a stolen Autobot shuttle, Decepticons land on the human colony world of Xin Shanghai. They are ultimately repelled, but not before they cause a massive loss of life in what becomes a breaking point in human/Cybertronian relations. Around this time, years of reverse-engineering and improving on salvaged Transformer technology allows humanity to become a more technologically powerful species than the Transformers.
