[[Wildrider (G1)|Wildrider]] uses the similar '''scattershot gun''', which he could've easily bought off of Swindle. If he shoots at anything, including small five story buildings in a fifty-square yard area, up to a 1/4 mile away, THE TERRORISTS WIN.

*Wildrider's bios of his Generation 1 toys released in Japanese markets have his '''scattershot gun''' roughly translated into '''laser shotgun''', which fits the functionality as mentioned above. Swindle's '''scatter blaster''' is fed with buckshots, which presumably work like real-life buckshots-a type of shotgun shell.

**Also, Wildrider's ''[[Transformers: More than Meets the Eye|More than Meets the Eye]]'' profile notes that his '''scattershot gun''' can only fill fifty-square-feet with the same 1/4 mile range, which means the spread of the weapon's beams is much tighter (50 square feet is around 4.65 square meters while 50 square yard is nearly 42 square meters).

"This weapon will win the war for you, guaranteed! But wait, there's more! Just look what else you get!"

Swindle may buy and sell an arsenal's worth of weapons in a day, but he keeps an occasional piece of merchandise for himself. His scatter blaster fires a wide spray of explosive buckshot—perfect for keeping away dissatisfied customers.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

Within the human video game Multi-World alongside Brawl, Swindle used his scatter-blaster to attack Streetwise and First Aid in the "Vineland" area of the game. The scatter-blaster's wanton destruction led to the area's vine creatures turning against the Combaticons, allowing the two Protectobots to take them out of the game. Afterdeath!

Animated cartoon

Scatter blaster, fusion cannon, whatever.

Even in an alternate universe, Swindle still swears by this weapon. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac
