- Surge is an Autobot Micromaster from the toyline portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Surge is a young idealist, full of ideas and confidence. He is always ready to listen to advice and war stories from his combiner partner Retro.[1]

- Missile Launcher (Micromaster Autobot Combiner Transport, 1990)
- Accessories: "Missile Launcher" Transport, 2 missiles, left & right guns, left & right shields/ramps
- Released in the seventh and final year of the original The Transformers toyline in the US (sixth and not-final in Europe), Surge is a redeco of Micromaster Combiner Excavator, transforming into a crane trailer which is intended to be the rear half of a red crane truck. He is intended to combine with his partner Retro to form a complete crane truck. As a Micromaster Combiner, he can as well connect to any other Micromaster Combiner or Combiner Transport to make a new vehicle.
